Hi Michael.
Thank you for your great question.
The single wall Corex Drain Perforated Pipe can only be buried to a depth of 4-5 feet and must have the River Rock used as a base and a cover for this pipe.
The area must be a “NO LOAD” site, in other words no buildings, no concrete or roadway over the top of the buried pipe. Only landscaping can be placed on top of the buried pipe.

Hi Michael.
Thank you for your great question.

The area must be a “NO LOAD” site, in other words no buildings, no concrete or roadway over the top of the buried pipe. Only landscaping can be placed on top of the buried pipe.
You stated that you wanted to bury your drain pipe 12 feet beneath the ground. This will require the use of the Double or Dual Wall Perforated Drain pipe that is produced by ADVANCED DRAINAGE SYSTEMS.
The Dual Wall Perforated Drain Pipe will probably be a special order thru your local Home Depot.
You will still need to use the River Rock as a base and cover for the drain pipe.

This rock can also be purchased in the 1/3 Cubic Yard Bag for larger applications.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.

Can I use this Polyethylene pipe to protect tree trunks from weed eaters and line trimmers?
Since it is perforated, I was thinking to cut it at a length of one foot each and cut open at the perforation and insert it on small tree trunks.
Will Polyethylene have any adverse effect on trees?
