This liquid tight conduit is used for Electrical Raceway, and the NEC Type of wire is needed to determine the conductor dimensions so that maximum conductor fill requirements for the conduit can be determined. I am providing information from NEC Table C.5 on the maximum number of NEC Type conductors in size No. 12 that are permitted in ½ Non-Metallic Liquidtight Conduit. This liquid tight conduit is used for Electrical Raceway, and the NEC Type of wire is needed to determine the conductor dimensions so that maximum conductor fill requirements for the conduit can be determined. I am providing information from NEC Table C.5 on the maximum number of NEC Type conductors in size No. 12 that are permitted in ½ Non-Metallic Liquidtight Conduit. I hope that this information is of some use: THW is a fill of 7 wires, RHH/RHW is a fill of 5 wires, THHN is a fill of 13 wires and XHHW is a fill of 9 wires. Read Less

Answer: 
Based on the NEC, it looks like four #6 wires would requires 3/4" NMLT Conduit. You can fit seven #6 wires in the 1" NMLT Conduit.
