Product Overview

Most other surge suppressors continue to let power through even after their circuits have been damaged, leaving your equipment exposed to future surges. APC's SurgeArrest fail safe, which means that once the circuit of an APC SurgeArrest has been compromised the unit disconnects equipment from the power supply ensuring that no damaging surges reach your equipment.

  • Allows use of two pieces of equipment at once, such as a modem and phone
  • Easy recovery from overloads; no need to replace a fuse
  • Protection of data lines (Ethernet, coaxial and phone lines) ensures complete protection of your equipment from surges and it is very important to protect your equipment from "back door" surges traveling through data lines, as they can be as damaging to your equipment as surges traveling over power lines
  • SurgeArrest will warn you if its circuitry has been damaged by heavy strike or power line surge and it is unable to provide 100% protection and if still under warranty, APC will then replace your damaged SurgeArrest free of charge
  • Connect bulky transformer block plugs without covering up other outlets
  • Adjustable cable management keeps cords and cables neat and organized
  • Lightning and surge protection: to prevent damage to your equipment from power surges and spikes
  • A 180˚ rotating cord with strain relief offers flexibility in positioning the SurgeArrest, and in routing the power cord

Customer Questions & Answers

I want to put this on a copy machine that is 120 V 9 amp. I also need the network protection. Would this product meet those specification.

Asked by: meadow
For the copy machine Yes. However this model does not have Cat5/LAN network protection. APC Model # P11VNT3 has the additional Cat5 plugs.

Thank you for your inquiry. The overload led will flash if the unit is loaded above 12 amps. I will attach the user manual for your reference. http://www.apc.com/salestools/KBOK-75VPUS/KBOK-75VPUS_R0_EN.pdf

Would this protect my TV equipment while using a portable generator with >5% THD?
Asked by: Jay101
Thank you for your inquiry. The surge protector will protect from surges and provides noise filtering. Just note that it will not work as a voltage regulator so if the generator were to dip too low the equipment could potentially power off.

11 Outlet 2375J Surge is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 45.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightning does strike twice. We had a Non-APC vendor power surge protecting our outside cable coax line and a network cable coming into our house from the outside (my husband does astrophotography in the backyard and needs network connectivity better than wireless.) Well lightning struck the back of our yard and took out BOTH the coax and Cat5e network cable, long with very piece of IT gear we had. It took 2 weeks to get us back up and running with Comcast. I'm hoping this does better. We are using both the network and coax surge protectors and most of the plugs. We are crossing our fingers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Surge Power Strip An excellent piece of equipment necessary for any home or business. We have deployed many of these in various locations and have had no failures to this date. It accommodates larger transformers without losing any outlets. In Florida we have frequent lighting storms and this gives us piece of mind knowing we are protected.

This power strip has just what I needed, lots of regular plugs down the center and plugs down each side for odd shaped transformers. Plus, I have room leftover for expansion.
