I can't find where the off / on switch is. Is it located near the light bulb or on the foot of the lamp?

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Answer:
Located at the bulb socket. The socket says it's 3-way, but a 3-way bulb only is one way on -off.

Lamp Shade

I have seen a lamp very similar to this at another retailer which also carried another color option which included a "linen" shade. I am trying to figure out if I can purchase a linen shade to switch it out with the burlap shade because it matches my decor better. I contacted Adesso and they asked for the product number off of their site adessohome.com, but there doesn't seem to be any lamps that match this style exactly. I was hoping that the linen shade would still be compatible with this lamp, as it is a very unique design when it comes to attaching the shade to the lamp itself.

Rated 3.7 out of 5 by 21 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Almost perfect lamp This COULD have been a perfect lamp if they had included a diffuser for the bottom of the shade. Without it, you're generally blinded by the lamp bulb. We bought a sheet of fluorescent ceiling fixture diffuser and cut out a circle and placed it in the bottom. THIS made it perfect. Lots of light with no blinding. August 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A Bargain A bargain at $39 (sale ended Dec 12). This is not the sturdiest design so take some care in assembling, read and follow the instructions and it will go well. Gives great light, does the job it's intended for. I bought a second one after assembling and using the first. January 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A Good Product and a Good Deal It was quick and easy to put together, it took less than ten minutes. May 26, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great lamp for tight place Lamp came in a small box. Super easy to assemble. Looks great and the bottom stand allows it to slide under our couch. Perfect for our narrow space. Love it - great value. December 24, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by lamp looks great! The lamp is sturdy, easy to assemble and looks great. December 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Fits the bill Came very cleverly packaged and was quite easy to assemble. My one caveat is that the stem is not arched as acutely as it is in the photograph, depending on how the lamp is angled you will see the light bulb. December 10, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice lamp I purchased 2 for my cabin's loft where I use them to light a custom work space. Packages contained all the parts. Lamps went together easily. Need to be careful with the set screws that are not already installed in the base and switch end of the or if you back any out to insert parts. They are very tiny, easy to drop, and hard to chase down when they roll into a floor vent. Until I fix, 1 of mine is a "Leaning Tower of Harrison" ARC Lamp. Switches have a positive on/off click. Shades compliment the metal finish. I'm good with the on sale/buy of the day purchase. June 16, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Avoid the Burlap Bag Shade lamp This lamp arrived missing one of the curved pieces that would allow the lamphead to be extended out. Since it is a pre-wired set-up at the factory, the drone worker missed including the arm at the time of assembly. Predictably, Home Depot does not have any spare parts so fixing this oversight by re-wiring it to include the missing curved arm piece was out of the question. After looking at the lamp in general, the design is OK, the finish looked cheap, the burlap bag material used for the shade was horrible, the quality of the parts was poor, and the lamp, even if it had come with the correct parts, was definitely not worth the price. If it was priced at $20, it might be OK, but with the poor quality and really stinky retrograde burlap bag shade, this item is one to avoid unless you have poor taste or love retro-burlap bag decor. Avoid at all cost and bad judgment. June 3, 2015
