Customer Reviews

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 750 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not buying another one I bought mine in the spring of 2010. It worked ok for the last few years, but then last week, when I went to turn it on, I heard humming and then it stopped. I can't turn it on at all now. I was really irriatated to run into this issue after only 6 years - I've seen them last 10+ - but eafter reading other reviews on here, it looks like I actually lucked out that it lasted even that long. My clothes have come out very linty on a regular basis, but I just dealt with it. I was going to look into having it repaired but after seeing how others have tried that with no success, I think I'm just going to replace it - with a different brand. April 1, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Get the extended warranty!! I have had this dryer for 2 years now and it works pretty well for the most part. However, I went to put in a load of clothes to dry and when I turned the dial and pressed the button nothing happened. So I checked to make sure I had the dial right and pushed the button again and heard a horrible buzzing noise. I'm thinking what the heck is that ? I opened the dryer door and the inside was glowing orange from the heating element coming on but the drum wasn't spinning. It took me a minute to realize that once I opened the door, the element should have went off and cooled down but it didn't!!! It kept getting hotter until I yelled at my fiancee to come unplug it because I couldn't reach the cord. Definitely a fire hazard and has me worried to use it again. I also have the matching washer and if you are going to buy this then get the extended warranty you will use it multiple times. February 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The Heat Is On! This dryer was super easy to install, and works great October 7, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by You get what you pay for Should have read the reviews before buying this dryer. Got it on sale and jumped right in. It really worked great for 19 months. Then, it just stopped heating. Bought a new heating element and thermostat (about $70 in parts) and the problem is still not fixed. By the time I pay for a service call and any additional parts, it will cost as much as the original price of the dryer. I think I will cut my losses, pay the extra money, and get something better. If you want a dryer that will only last 1 to 2 years, go ahead and buy one of these. You get what you pay for . . . . February 7, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 6 months in and needing repair work... The dryer worked for the first couple of months pretty well, then it stopped turning the drum. If you manually turn the inside to remove clothes, it will take it off its rubber belt which turns the entire drum and will not be able to turn. I had to call the repair guys to put it back on track. Then today, 7 months later had the repair man to replace the motor because it would not stay on to dry clothes (push the button to start and would quit immediately after you released the button). So needless to say, I am on the last bit of our warranty time and am probably going to have to replace it. Worst investment ever, especially with two young toddlers... February 21, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible... Sorry to say.... Had the dryer 3 days making horrible loud noises, no help from dealer or manufacturer 1 small load of towels takes 2 hours to dry. Didnt expect alot for the price but this dryer is worthless We buy everything from Home Depot but will reconsider any purchases in future May 19, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by debatable bought this dryer exactly nine days ago and am currently waiting to hear back from home depot as what to do. the heat setting dial you can turn and set to desired setting and turn it on but after an hour last nite went to check it and the dial had not moved from where I set it and opened the door and the clothes were not dry and the inside was not hot..not impressed to say the least bought this dryer because this is the only one they had on hands all other dryers you have to wait about a week to get to the store and pick up..we will see if we have to take it back or the warranty covers this type of problem March 23, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Value I needed a dryer quickly due to my old one going down unexpectedly. Bought this model a week ago and I am very happy. It's quite though, my laundry room is down stairs. Very few bells and whistles but dries my clothes just fine. April 25, 2015
