Product Overview

The 1/2 in. x 3/4 in. Primed Finger-Jointed Pine Base Shoe is typically used with a baseboard. After the flooring is installed, the base shoe is placed on the floor up against the baseboard. The small size of this profiles allows it to follow any unevenness in the floor and wall. This will cover up any gaps that may be exposed. This moulding is also used in a wide variety of other crafts and home projects.

Customer Reviews

WM 126 1/2 in. x 3/4 in. Primed Finger Jointed Pine Base Shoe Moulding is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product When we refinished our hard wood floors it was impossible to sand and stain perfectly against the base boards (and removing the base boards was not an option). So we used this shoe molding so cover the edge around the room and dress up the base boards. These are prime and ready to paint which is convenient. I try to buy long enough pieces to span whole walls and not have to splice mid-wall (splicing shouldn't be too difficult if you needed to). When purchasing long pieces it can be difficult to transport because they are flimsy. To stiffen up the bundle I shrink wrap a bunch of them together and they travel just fine in the back of my truck. If u need to caulk seems use something like Alex Paintable caulk and put a coat of paint on after you caulk (dust tends to collect on caulk and caulk over time discolors).
