We bought this twice and bothtimes we had to return it because it had a crack in the walls. Never buying it again. They need to find a better way to package it.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bwaud cheap manufacturing
Not solid, fiberglass very porous and weak, was cracked at top next to support board when unloaded. Had to repair the fiberglass. I did not contact manufacturer just did repair myself. I took extra care to offer a lot of support for this unit so hopefully if treated gently it will last. If you want cheap, buy this, but I will opt for better quality next time.

This was the shower that was in our "Homes of Merit" doublewide home when we came here on August 24, 1994. For 21 years my husband and I have enjoyed it, and it sets the standard for any other unit (which we are NOT getting) that we see. It is especially easy for people who are aging, like we are, because it offers a comfortable seat while washing hair, doing pedicures, etc.

This shower unit is fine and a good value but the sliding shower doors that fit this are limited. You will need the 44 x 65.5 door not the much more common 48 x 70. We went with a local glass company for the door because they offered a better variety and styles. If you are looking to hang a shoer curtain and rod you won't have a problem.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Verdie Shower Stall did not retain color
This shower stall was bright white when purchased. Within two years it had turned yellow and no attempt to return it to white was successful. All manufacturer cleaning guidelines were followed, but to no avail. The gelcoat still has it's sheen, but the fiberglass has yellowed.
The Jacuzzi whirlpool that we purchased at the same time has remained bright white. The Lasco vanity that we purchased has also yellowed.
Structurally, the Lasko shower stall has held up well.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by matt I bought 9 of these 4 foot showers and they're all white
Too bad the other reviewer had a problem with the fiberglass. I got 9 of these units for my apartment building and they have held up well. They are all white. Cleaning instructions encourage not using abrasive cleaners. Maybe becuase my tenants dont' clean so much they stayed white and didn't abrade the gelcoat the fiberglass is still white? I like the fiberglass its heavy and ruggeded. Something that goes well in a commercial apartment, but I'd put it in my house if I needed one.
They are 10 years old now and look good.
I do have a complaint but it would be the same with any shower install.. use blue board in the shower and caulk well . I'm always caulking around the top of the shower now. I'm looking at going wiht a one piece design - dome.. There's quite a bit up charge but I'm hoping it will pay for itself in reduced maintenaince and better appearance. Come back in 10 years to find out. :)

This is just what we we looking for at a price that was a good value. It is well built and should serve us for many years. My wife loved the dual corner seats... It makes shaving her legs a lot easier!

Just what I needed for my new bathroom. Drop it in, attach to studs, run plumbing to it, and sheetrock around it. Could have used it the same day I installed it.
