Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Absolute garbage! Used this stuff on some projects over two weeks ago and it is still sticky. Wouldn't recommend using it. June 4, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Deck Stain Ever Applied this stain last spring. Now it is peeling, flaking, and fading. I am done with all Behr products, which means I am done with Home Depot. I will try to cash in on the "6 Year Warranty", but I expect that will be a waste of time. I will probably just be offered 2 more gallons of the same garbage. June 18, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Does not last 6 years, nor even 3-4 years Please don't be fooled. This product, Behr semi transparent deck stain/sealer in 1 does not last as advertised. Though we live in sunny CO with more UV exposure, I've had the application on 18 months, and its peeling in spots, as if it never bonded or soaked to wood. For 30$, save yourself the cost, and time for repeated work. I am now sanding, cleaning and starting over with a different product. Discussion with current employee stated UV might not make it last as long as stated. May 28, 2013
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not so nice. I followed the Behr instructions to the letter to prepare an existing deck. The Behr stripper was an excellent product and the cleaner seemed to work fine. The problem was with the Premium Semi-Transparent wood stain I applied. It does require two coats just as the instructions say but after the second coat there is little to no transparency. It looks like I applied the solid finish. In addition the coverage did not even meet the minimum amount required according to Bahr instructions. In the past I used a Cabot Australian Oil and received much better results and a higher coverage. . May 5, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Didn't Last so it isn't protecting. The preparation for the stain was extensive. I countersunk all the nails so I could sand the surface more extensively. I rollered and brushed the Behr Premium solid color Weatherproofing wood Stain. The stain started to peel away after 8 months. After three weekends of preparation, even a full refund wouldn't be worth it.b April 29, 2013
