I am thinking about painting my wood floors and would like to find something that paints and primes and seals as this states that it does. Would this work without getting a polyurethane sealant or should I do both this and the selant?

Hi tdh,
Thanks for your question! Our Premium Plus All-In-One Primer & Sealer would be a great option for your wood floors, however it does need to be topcoated with a floor coating since this isn't a stand-alone product. Answer:
Hi Eric,
Thanks for your question. For best results, we recommend de-glossing the Semi-Gloss Enamel before applying our Premium Plus Interior All-In-One Primer & Sealer. You don't need to sand the closet doors back down to bare wood, just as long as the previous paint isn't glossy anymore. Good luck with your project! - Sara

Hi 1617mkt,
We currently don't recommend applying wallpaper over our primers. You may want to reach out to your local Home Depot for some recommendations on a different primer to use for this purpose. We are doing new construction, Drywall went up, we took our first try at the drywall finish work which came out with some imperfections. We applied two coats of this primer & sealer...it worked great. It has a "self leveling" technology which helped a great deal with the small imperfections of the mud application over the fiber tape which prior to the primer looked like it was going to show. This product worked great at filling in nearly all of the little missed sections. Very happy with it, will be certain to use it on all the drywall surfaces in our home.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not suitable for drywall Used to prime new drywall and older walls that had been skim coated to cover ugly texturing. Primer was easy enough to apply and covered well. BUT it did not adhere worth a darn to either the drywall or the joint compound used for skim coating. Pulled up easily with low tack painters tape and once started, the primer pulled off the wall in sheets. Literally. No adhesion to speak off. Do NOT use on unpainted drywall! No matter that the label says it's for drywall and that the guy at Home Depot recommended it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from COVERED DARK GREEN WALLS This Behr Primer covered dark green walls with two coats. I didn't have the dark green paint on 100% of the walls so I just painted the primer where there was green, and when it came time to repaint the new white paint covered it nicely with two coats of the Behr Marquee paint. It blended so well that I don't remember what the dark green looked like anymore. An excellent product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great paint I have used Lowes Valspar paint all the time in the past. Use to be a Manager at Lowes and was loyal to the brand. After leaving Lowes I tried BEHR paint. It covered everything in one coat. I was amazed! I also used Sherwin William and in my opinion I would put BEHR above them in coverage and price. Same goes with this primer.

Was used as the undercoat for a basement ceiling that was then painted black. The primer sprayed on great. A bit thin but not too much dripping. The can said you could add up to,4oz of pigment for tinting, I had 3oz added. . Covered very well and the black topcoat went on great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Drippy We thought the paint was drippy and did not cover as well as reviews said it did. We were painting over cream colored walls and ceiling that had been prepped with TSP and rinsed as per directions, then dried properly. We're disappointed that the product did not match the reviews.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Primer fail. Thick and difficult to spread evenly. Did not seem to affect the end results of walls I used it on vs walls I did not use it on. Did not give me the desired even-ness in sheen that the store associate assured me that primer does over patched spaces of wall.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product is as Stated and is Genuine My closet organizer kit arrived in good time without delay. The product arrived undamaged despite the UPS man dropping it in my driveway. My only complaint is that the top shelving instructions were NOT included with the kit.
