What is the maximum temperature this should be exposed to once dry?

I need to paint the brick surround around my wood burning stove. Will this paint be able to stand up to 200F-300F temperatures for long periods of time or will it bubble, melt, or discolor?
Asked by: doitmyselfordietrying
The maximum surface tempurature should be 90 degrees as stated on the label.

how much surface area does each can cover?

Asked by: Anonymous
One gallon typically will cover between 350-400 sf. per gallon. It depends largely on the substrate you will be painting and the overall condition of it. Plan on 350sf.

Can I use this paint on radiators?

Asked by: Erin
Dear Anonymous, Thank you very much for your question. BEHR PREMIUM PLUS® Zero VOC Interior Semi-Gloss Paint is not recommended for a radiator. Radiators and pipes that heat to extremely high temperatures are most successfully coated with high-heat or high-temperature products that are specially formulated for that purpose. Thank you very much.

While this paint work on wood paneling?

Asked by: kylewill
My experience painting wood paneling is that it bleeds through the finish coat . It looks like yellow stains. I always use a shellac primer first then finish it with a couple coats of finish. Zinsser BIN is a good product. Do not use the new advanced water based BIN it doesn't work I found that out the hard way. The shellac primer cleans up with denatured alcohol. I always roll it on and buy a cheap brush and throw them away when your done. use good ventilation it is very strong and it dry very fast so do a small area at a time.

Hi, I know it says no VOC, but I read zero VOC is not really 0. How much VOCs are we talking about per gallon cannot locate in specs? Thanks
Asked by: NoVOC
This product is 0 VOC's until colorant is added to achieve color. Otherwise it is tested and approved as a 0 VOC product. In reality it might have an insignificant amount of smell if any.

1 gal. Ultra Pure White Semi-Gloss Zero VOC Interior Paint is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 2004.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cover up! I bought this paint to cover up a portion of bead board in my house that was painted black. Everything else was white in my kitchen except this one piece of bead board and I finally got around to painting it this month. This paint did and excellent job. I did have to sand down the bead board a little bit and underneath the black paint was purple but the paint cover it right up with about 2 to 3 coats! Which i expected that many coats because of the dark color going to white. Now my kitchen is all white and beautiful! Thanks HOME DEPOT

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice pure white semi-gloss interior paint This paint is glossy enough and perfect for a custom built closet. I used a roller and fine paint brush and you can not tell that was used when it dries. I tried it in a sprayer but was too thick and had to thin it down. It was too thin for my use so that is why I used a roller and a brush which worked great. Here are pictures of the closet it was used in.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I got this paint to put a fresh coat over white trim. I purchased the ultra white color. It too... I got this paint to put a fresh coat over white trim. I purchased the ultra white color. It took 3-4. Coats to get a solid color. I do not have time to paint something 3 or 4 times... would never buy this again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from coverage is tricky I seem to struggle with coverage with this paint in white. Maybe I apply it too thinly, but I need multiple coats to achieve it's claim of "excellent hide". That's painting a light colored wall, mind you. I wonder how difficult it would be to cover a dark wall with the ultra pure white. Rolling achieves better results than brush. Dries very quickly so if you notice a drip, get it fast or it's difficult to brush it out without unsightly drag marks. When done, it leaves an awesome finish. I use it because I feel behr is the best paint out their, but I find myself working harder to apply this paint in white than I do their other products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful coverage, perfect color. We had some wainscot put up and some trim. The color came out beautiful. It is a true white which is what I wanted to contract the bold gold.
