I used the behr paint and primer for my first time ever and it covered my light blue with a nice gray and surprisingly it covered in one coat I let it dry for the night and it covered all the stains and brush strokes in the wall plus half a paint can left.

This paint's finish was uneven and blotchy, and is especially noticeable in sunny areas of the house where you can see down/along the wall. Despite taking every precaution to ensure all pre-paint preparation steps were taken, applying three coats and sometimes more, and trying different techniques to get it to roll on as smoothly as possible, it still turned out blotchy. A light colour will cover a previous dark colour easily, but my complaint is with the uneven finish.

I recently used this paint on two different projects. I found that the product worked well over flat paint and drywall, but did not perform well on a surface that had been wallpapered.
In the first case, the product worked perfectly. No issues. Good adhesion, coverage, and uniform color. On the second project, I removed the wallpaper and found that the wall was in good condition with a flat finish. I went over it with a damp cloth, let it dry and started cutting. Right away I had problems with adhesion; if I had a little drip and went back after 30 seconds to smooth it out, the paint stuck to the brush and came off the wall.
I tried Glidden Gripper on the same section, and had no problems. I then cleaned a section of the wall with TSP, rinsed it and let it dry. Same problem; the Behr product would still not adhere. I even tried lightly sanding the surface, but that still did not help. (See attached photo)
The Behr product does appear to adhere adequately to the Gripper, so I won't need to waste it. However, it would have been cheaper to buy regular paint than to use this product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Angeliz animal rescue depends on BEHR paints
I am the Executive Director of an animal rescue in WA state and we ONLY use BEHR paint for our kennel, visitor center and even in my home. Not only does it come in every color imaginable, but it covers generally in one coat and has the durability we need with the amount of animals we have.
I have spent twice as much money on other paint and have regretted it. I have learned my lesson and will only buy Behr. Great cost, great product, durable and long lasting. Behr covers everything inside outside our decks and more. We couldn't be happier. When budgets are tight and you need quality, choose BEHR!!!

My husband (who is a professional painter) just re-painted our bedroom. The original paint was Behr and was 18 years old. We were happy with Behr then and were even happier this time. We had wonderful colors to choose from, the paint went on with one coat as advertised, the colors (Silk Pillow and Oriental Silk) dried to the color of the chips, the paint odor (while not unpleasant) dissipated quickly and cleanup was easy. Our next project is the living/dining area and we have already selected our colors as Icing Rose and Vellum Parchment in the Premium Plus Ultra. Behr is the only paint we will ever use in our home.

I have been using Behr paints for years. The last time we painted the interior of our home was 5 years ago and even tho it is truly time for a change and some updates the paint has lasted. Having two kids you end up with dirty fingers on the walls especially in the hallway. I literally grab a sponge and wipe dirt away. It was a paint and primer all in one. Cut our work time in half. And my husband who is allergic to fragrances never had a problem because it is also low odor. Amazing! I couldn't say better things about it. It is the only paint I will use and continue using in the future. I really want to repaint the house and this time use the Marquee instead.

We painted our boy's room with this product prior to having new carpet installed. When the carpet was installed, anywhere the carpet roll touched the walls, the paint flaked and peeled off. It was a deep green color, so it looked awful with little white patches showing through all over the bottom half of the walls. When I was changing my baby's diaper on his changing table, he was waving his arms around and his hand made contact with the wall and more of the paint came off. It is like the paint didn't even adhere to the walls. I think we could literally peel it all off by gently picking at it.
