Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A perfect lawn mower I owned a corded lawn mower. I had to deal with the extension cords and the fear of cutting into the cords. I then decided to purchase this cordless lawn mower. It has sharp blade. It cuts the lawn nicely whether the lawn is wet or dry. The engine is very quiet. The battery is awesome. I cut my 1200 sqft lawn twice and there is still battery left. There is no grass mess to clean up; thanks to the attached bag on the back of the machine. The tricks to have a good battery life for this equipment: - Plug in and charge the battery at all time during the summer when it's not used. - In the winter time, fully charged it and store in a place where the weather is below -5 degree. It can be stored for 6 months without being charged in the summer. This equipment is worth the money! August 3, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome Lawn Mower I bought this Mower about 2 years ago. I am on a 8,000 Sq.ft lot. This year I put down new turf and it cuts 8" grass height easily. I have recommended it to friends and family. The only reason I can only give it 4 stars is the grass flap at the back of the mower came off this weekend. Otherwise 5 stars all the way. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Battery Powered Mowers - long term cost Beware of battery - after 2 years - even if you care for the battery with proper winter storage - you'll need to replace it - the cost to replace the battery is $150. In long grass, the mower doesn't have the battery strength and often stalls. I'd only recommend any cordless battery mower for small lawns. Personally, i switched to electric with an electrical cord ($190) - and I need 200' of electrical cord! but it's worth it if i can get through the lawn and don't need to pay to replace the battery again. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great machine! Plenty of power if you cut your grass every 5 or 6 days . It will bog down in thicker grass depending upon the height of you cut. Self propelled feature is awesome. Safety gets a high rating. You need the key plugged in, push a botton on side of handle and pull back on bar before it will start. Has plenty of power. I can mow our front a back yard in under 45 min and that is about the max time you will get. I use mine in mulch mode and it works great. If you were bagging it would probably be better in areas of heavy grass. Single set height so you wont have to change each wheel. A little more walking due to 18" cut but the self propelled feature more than makes up for it. I was told I would have to replace the battery about every 5 years at approximately $150...thats $50 a year and no changing oil, running out for gas, tune-ups etc. And of course ECO friendly. Buy and enjoy! May 13, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I spent a year looking for a good cordless eco friendly mower and finally decided on this one. Best buy I have ever made. It is so quiet and easy to use. I have a pie shaped yard and I cut my lawn and my neighbours front yard and there was still lots of charge left. Highly recommended - no more cables - easy to assemble. I now look forward to cutting the lawn. June 8, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by B&D 18 in Cordless Mower Needs More Power A wonderful unit for small yards. I would not recommend for an average or large yard. This unit is quite underpowered for longer grass so do not let your lawn go to much. Otherwise a good choice for a small lot with little lawn. July 14, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by RETIRED I have had the CMM1000 Model for 5 years. Has performed as advertized. Only negitive is the weight on turning. I am now faced with requiring a new battery. Watch this cost - I have just been quoted $229.00 plus tax by the B&D Sevice Centre. Do I scrape mower or purchase new battery hoping nothing else goes wrong? May 13, 2010
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Lightweight, plenty of battery strength, easy to assemble, durable and looks good! June 22, 2012
