I'm constantly using this saw. I don't just use it, i beat it hard. I'm frequently making custom rails out of 4x4x8 posts pressure treated, red ceder, mohagany, etc... there's only 2 down sides to this saw. 1 the gut power for what i do, cutting the 4x4x8 strains it & every once in a while I'll end up popping circuit breaker. for me this isn't a big deal cause I'm using a generator to power it. the only other flaw is i wish it took a bigger blade but really thats my flaw not the machines. this saw cuts true & the arm secures tight. i had a ryobi tabke saw that the arm would move making cuts that weren't true & after 10 4x4x8 cuts it up & died on me. this bosch saw kicks hardcore behind for $349.00. i recommend it to anyone who's out working everyday, you'll wish you bought it sooner.

This is my second Bosch saw. I also have a Delta Contractors saw, an older Craftsman saw and a 30 year old 2.0 hp Rockwell contractors saw and this one outpowers them all. When it said it had a 4 hp motor, I kind of rolled my eyes. I still don't see it as a true 4 HP by any means, but it is definitely powerful enough.
I tested it with two inch oak plank and yes it powered through it without bogging down. The Delta Contractors saw would have been bogging the whole way and even the Rockwell would have had some difficulty.
The fence is very straight right out of the box. It is not like most small fences. It is tight and the handle is metal, not plastic.
I built my own stand for it and put it on an existing dolly (the wheels on the dolly allow it to move side to side, but not front to back, for obvious reasons).
The dust collection is also a pleasant surprise. It efficiently shoots all the sawdust out a port in the back. I put a short shop vac hose on it and sent the dust into a bucket and it works well (easier than trying to deal with the manufacturer's bag). Obviously it does not pick up all the sawdust, some shoots out the top, but it is almost as efficient as my other table saws that have dust collection.
If you are just getting started in woodworking, get this saw. If you don't have a shop, you can easily set this up and take it down, and cleanup is a LOT easier than a saw that sends all the dust everywhere.

I am a full time general contractor for 32 years with 36 years in construction. I have owned several different table saws; Jet, Craftsman, Dewalt,, Rigid and a few off name brands. The Bosch worked for about 4 months before the blade lowering and raising mechanism gave out. The fence was weak from day one but for a small portable I did not expect much. This is the least dependable saw I have ever owned. It is sad that all the tool companies have all become so terrible. You can not buy quality tools at any price. Even Fien and Festool have design flaws.

I was at home depot a few days ago and and I was looking at other stuff when I stumbled upon this saw in the aisle with a discounted price of $280 this was a deal I couldn't pass up later I went back and bought the stand at a discounted price of $56 I am very pleased with the quality of this saw. I later went back and looked at the rigid and Sears Craftsman at Sears and the quality of this is much higher. I couldn't be happier

Set up was a snap and it was dialed in from the factory so no adjustments required. The manual provided is great and easy to follow.
The saw is well designed and compact yet sturdy enough for large projects.
I also picked up the stand and it too is well built, attaches quickly and fold away for transport.
Motor has plenty of power for a job site saw.
As mentioned in other reviews the miter gauge should be improved but it works and is made to be built up with a wood facing.
After upgrading from my Grandfathers 60 year old Craftsman table saw, the riving knife on the Bosch is a dream. I also like the easy on/off of the guard assembly and anti-kickback device.
Good accessories are also available and are reasonably prices for this saw.
Picked it up same day in store and was discounted when I purchased it. Overall money well spent for solid portable saw.

I have owned a Ridgid TS2400 (which worked like a dream) , the Porter Cable portable table saw, an entry level Delta table saw and now this. I needed something well made and compact and this is it.

Very portable very light very powerful room for on board storage for every component on the saw making transport a breeze blade height adjustment is smoothe and works well my only 2 complaints are that the safety brackets around the blade feel very flimsy and cheap for a Bosch tool and the jig that comes with the saw is cheap and doesn't slide smoothly All in all a great tool there's a stand you can buy separately for 80 bucks and it is well worth it makes the saw very stable potable and looks great too. This is my first table saw I must note and could be the other brands are complete garbage compared to this but in not sure The ends of the table saw extend

The only trouble that I have had with this saw is getting super accurate blade angles, and the not-so-great miter gauge. Other than that, this saw is powerful, and does not bog down on any material that I have thrown at it, including African Mahogany, pine, oak, and various hardwood plywoods. I use the Diablo 80 tooth 10" blade with it, and cuts very well and leaves clean edges, with no detectable blade wobble (after startup is complete). Light enough to carry, and the removable equipment is nice to have, even if you don't use it.
