I have had this set for about 4 years now and could not be happier with it. The tools work extremely well, even when "abused" by driving masonry screws or by other applications. The lock feature is nice so the tool does not turn on when the switch is inadvertently pushed, as in when in tool bag. The LEDs are a nice plus and the batteries last longer than I would have expected.

Exactly what I wanted. Tools did exactly what needed them to do. I was looking for a great impact drill and found it with a great combo deal. Great for any quick maintainance around the home and fits in many difficult areas like under the sink.

This kit is my first venture into cordless tools. It is just right for home projects. The 3/8" drill is just a little lighter and smaller than the 1/2" drill, which makes it easier to use. Both tools are impressively light and compact. There is almost nothing I do that would require the larger chuck capacity. The combo is perfect, since I can drill holes and then pick up the impact driver and put in screws. With my old corded drill being the only tool I had before, I had to change bits and it was a big hassle. I've been using both all week on the slim pack batteries and have not had to recharge. The case is nicely done, and just right for a few tools and some boxes of accessories. One improvement in the case would be to add some partitions, which would make space utilization better. One great addition to the impact driver would be to have a dual speed range like the drill. Most small projects require lower speed, which can be done once you get used to it, but the added lower speed range would make it easier. I am impressed with the quality, and certainly am going to buy Bosch again for my next cordless power tool, probably a jigsaw.
