I recently purchased this bit because in the Home Depot product overview, it said "For use with tap-con condrive systems". When I tried to attach the condrive tool over the bit, neither end seemed to securely fit. The 3/16 inch side of the condrive tool didn't fit at all. The 1/4 inch side of the condrive tool fit over the bit but didn't snap on, it would fall off if I pointed the drill downward. Is there some additional attachment that is needed, or did I buy the wrong product (bit) for the tap-con condrive system I have have?

Answer:
Thank you for your question. The Bosch HC2312 is designed for use with masonry fastening systems with hex sleeve drive tools. The hex drive on the bit fits into the driver sleeve. If your installation tool is not 1/4" hex it will not fit properly on this bit.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by LOW QUALITY I had to drill through 1-3/4" concrete . It took me 4 days and purchasing another Bosch masonry bit to complete my task. June 28, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Adequate bit.... I had a bunch of holes to drill and decided to try this bit. It works, but not overly well. It seems to dull more slowly than the cheaper bits, but also doesn't drill as fast. It will work, but for the money I prefer the Tapcon bits. They are a little less sturdy but tear through concrete much better. They get dull after 15-20 holes, but cost 1/2 of what this bit costs. I suggest the Tapcon ones and replaced them every 15 holes or so (depending on depth). Bit cost is about $0.25 per hole. Well worth it for a faster bit. May 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Easily worn out. Using a Bosch 1194 VSR hammer drill, I attempted to drill 16, 2 1/4 in holes in my patio concrete One bit lasted for eight (8) holes -- a total of 18 drill inches, and the other bit lasted for six (6) holes -- a total of 13.5 drill inches. Thoroughly disgusted, I went my local ACE and bought a "Tapper" bit, finished out the remaining two holes, and THEN went on to drill an additional 36 drill inches of screw holes into the patio with the Tapper bit.. Clearly the Bosch bits are inferior, as well as being a lot more expensive than my alternative! March 10, 2016
