CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 175 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A Wise Choice if You Enjoy Grilling This grill does it all. The gas side has 3 burners and heats up quickly and evenly for every day grilling. The charcoal side is excellent for smoking meats. This grill is excellent for smoking. I have had it for two delicious years and it has never let me down. For big parties I get both the gas and the wood going-people love to see that and it gets a lot of comments. You smoke the chicken or steak on the charcoal side and cook the hamburgers and hot dogs on the other side, and you still have a side burner to cook on as well. I will be purchasing the smoke box accessory for this grill, I should have gotten that years ago, but smoking meats is an art and a learning process as well. This grill is for people who love to cook outdoors. The picture was taken at the time of the review. This grill is over 2 years old with heavy usage. Hint: skip the wood chips, cook with wood chunks and don't soak them. Start with a mile wood like pecan. I find that smoking with pecan makes a nice tasting chicken and makes the neighborhood smell like pecan pie. May 24, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by worst purchase ever I used it maybe 15 times and it went bad. cheap but not worth. I wrote brinkmann and they were not helpful. A grill should not rust this fast... try a different brand. May 26, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good flexible griller I assembled this grill, and although a bit flimsy - which I expect for $300 - the parts all fit together well. I added the smoker separately, and that created to best Christmas ham we have ever had. I recommend this product, just keep your expectations within the affordable cost! December 28, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by 3 years of full use and still going This thing has held up pretty well to my use and abuse. The quality of the materials is so-so, but to get all of the functions for $300, you have to expect that. If you take care of it per the instructions, it will hold up just fine. Definitely want to buy the cover for it. I use it 2-4 times a week in the spring and summer, and at least once a week during the fall and winter. I recently added the firebox accessory for smoking (Model # 810-3826-SB), which I LOVE. You do have to be careful how hot the fire gets in that thing, though. Most of the other reviewers are on point. Here are some add'l pros and cons. Pros: -Great functionality all in one for relatively cheap. -Charcoal grill has adjustable rack for coals with pan to catch ashes. -Firebox accessory makes for great smoking! -If you have chimney starter for charcoal, you can take the grate off of the side burner and get the coals started with the propane. MUCH easier than paper! Cons: -Difficult to clean inside. Second the recommendation to use some heavy duty foil to line the bottom of the gas grill section. -Warping and paint peeling can occur in charcoal grill if heat gets too high -Warming rack is worthless -Assembly takes patience and persistence. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst Purchase Ever I have one of these, it has lasted approx. 18 months. I live in Florida so we can grill year round. Even though I have kept it under cover on the back patio, it has completely rusted out and warped. I have had good experiences with Brinkmann in the past, however, this particular Grill was garbage. I've seen reviews saying "What can you expect for $300". Something that lasts longer than 18 months. Unless you want a grill that warps, rusts and generally embarrasses you to cook on when friends come over, get something else. February 11, 2014
