Answer:
The RP3200 does not have a battery. It has a DC motor that runs off a 12 volt source such as a cigarette lighter in an automobile. An owners manual can be found at chpower.com.

I have owned 2 of these models previously and both times the compressor has died as soon as the the warranty has passed. This is with very little use and just being stored in the trunk. The first one that died I thought was a fluke and I bought another one mainly because it was the lowest price. Now I know you get what you pay for. Save yourself some money and buy a quality compressor from the start that will last more than a year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not as good as they used to be. Flimsily made. Did not work properly out of the box.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from could be better This model replaced an older Campbell Hausfeld inflator that I have had for 20+ years. I've used the product only once so far when I put air in all 4 tires in my car, and it worked like a charm. The only drawbacks that I can see so far are that scale on the dial needs to be in more increments and it was difficult to remove the nozzle off of the valve stem on the tire. I know that they always say to use a separate air pressure gauge, but a better scale on the dial would be better, especially if you want to be more accurate when setting the auto-shut off. By the way, the auto shutoff worked great. You just have to remember to turn the pump off and then on again if you want it to pump some more. As far as the difficulty in removing the nozzle from the tire's valve stem, it could be because I am just not used to it yet. Time will tell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for Tire Inflation I have owned several 12 volt air compressors. This one is my favorite. Here are my top reasons : Automatic shut off (no waiting and checking), easy carry handle, well made, good toggle switches, easy to repack air hose / cord, price point. In short this is a good value. I have purchased them for not only myself but family/friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from For the money best unit out there, comes wth warrranty . second one i've owned love it Did lots of research on small models like this and find this to be one of the best . I've had 2 differant models from other company,s and find this to be the best for the buck ! My better half has had hers well over a year and no problems.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from does the job its great and its a good value for the price for something average. only problem i have is when i am pumping my bike and remove the nozzle from the presta valve converter (i bought from amazon) is that its a bit annoying to get off and gets a little stuck and some air flies out. didn't happen with my old pump. kinda annoying but this is the best price ratio i found after researching. not gonna spend so much on a friggen air pump.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best tire inflator on the market I had been looking for a tire inflator for home use for a while. One of my neighbors had one of the early Campbell Hausfeld units and he let me borrow it on occassion. This unit is easy to use, has a long enough cord to reach all tires, and has a built in pressure ilmit on the guage. Its a high quality durable unit and as far as Im concerned best available on the market
