I purchased 5 of these cabinets for my garage. The 1st cabinet went a little slow trying to follow the Ikea like instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions as to where the unfinished edges face. Use extra glue for lasting bonds. No not over tighten the screws. I was able to assemble all the cabinets in about 5 hours. The Cabinet design is sound except for the base "skirt" its poorly designed but gets the job done. When attaching the back panel take care to center your nails or you will blow part of the finish off on the inside, if that happens just remove the nail and glue the finish back on. I mounted the cabinets on a edge so I purchased the additional standoffs for added support.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Angie6565 Only useful for light weight items and cheaply made
I purchased this cabinet a year ago and that is all it lasted. I purchased it with the intent to store office supplies. Not sturdy at all. The cabinet is made of particle board. The backing is cardboard..The shelving has lost it shape because of the weight. The cabinet doors did not meet in the middle after a month and began to gap. $200 down the drain.

I wanted to use this as an office supply cabinet in my garage. It looks great in a garage. But seriously you would not want this in your house. It is cheap looking. Light weight construction. I bought the 48" x 72" cabinet. As long as I put light weight off ice supplies in it it is fine and meets my needs nicely. Took two hours to assemble using a battery powered screwdriver with two people!!! Give yourself lots of time for assembly.
Totally ridiculous that you can't buy extra shelves. It comes with way too few. I will have to buy additional wood and cut to order.

Directions are very easy to follow. I put four of these together. The first one took a little less than an hour to assemble. Each successive one went quicker. My only complaint are the poor quality hinges. I had to adjust them to the maximum capable in order to get the doors to close. Also, the screws for the handle are a little bit too short. I had to use a countersink bit on a couple of them because the screw stripped out the first threads on the handle before it would engage. I accidentally dropped one of the doors on a concrete floor and couldn't find any damage. They are correct that they are impact/abrasion resistant.

Not bad looking. It was easy to assemble but must be careful to keep all finished edges on one side. Poor instructions, not enough warnings for possible mistakes novice makes. Good to have hand because it is heavy. Should have two more shelves. I got shelves cut at home depot.
Does job very well at my church. I am buying one more.
