Rated 4.0 out of 5.0Â by amanda extra supplies may be needed
fairly easy to assemble. however, needed to put 1Ã4 blocks between the back of the unit and the wall because the baseboard in my closet would made the unit sit away from the wall by about 3/4" and making it impossible to level front to back (it would have had to lean back against the wall and only been able to be anchored at the very top). then with the extra thickness we had to use our own #10 x 2-1/2" wood screws to attach the unit to the wall studs. not a huge deal as we happened to have those supplies on hand but save yourself an extra trip and grab a 1 x 4 and a package of wood screws.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by Cupcake8512 Impressions Chocolate 16in Narrow Closet Kit
The product was exactly as it was described and was a perfect addition to our TINY closet. My only con is that it only had 3 bars to attach to the middle shelving. We had to purchase another bar (not a big deal) because we wanted more hanging space for shirts/sweaters (we don't hang coats or long items in our closet). My boyfriend still had to cut the bars down, but that only took a couple minutes. I'm glad we got this because it was literally the only one that came close to fitting that actually looked more "sophisticated". And since we have to have custom doors made for our closet, it looks just fine without them until we get them made. I'd highly recommend this to anyone with very little room to work with and a lot of clothing to hang up! Heads up though, if you attach it to the wall like it recommends, be sure to grab some extra hardware at the store (the clips they give you are plastic)...you'll be glad you did.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 damaged parts
The chocolate finish had to be ordered as they did not have this instore. I had two of thise shipped site to store and picked them up. Boxes are 75+ lbs each and very heavy. Panels had damage that caused the chocolate finish to be down to the particle board in spots on edges in both boxes. I had part of this already put together when I noticed the damaged areas but I continued putting it together because it would be very heavy and inconvenient to return and hoped that Closet Maid would have a touch up type pen to cover those areas because it would take another two weeks to reorder two more units and I could not imagine how to return this as it was half assembled. Moving 75 lbs of partially put together pieces would be almost impossible. Looks great where the chocolate finish is intact and works well but I contacted Closet Maid via their web site and asked if they had a touch up pen and was told "we don't recommend painting the organizer" and also a note about replacement parts. Not what I asked. I tried again in a follow up e-mail and was told they could send replacement parts and not to paint--anyone who has assembled units such as this knows you can't removed panels once they are glued and cam locks are tightened. Then they said I could return the unit--really, return an over 6 foot unit that is put together to the store. Not even sure how I would get that in my car. I asked again how they expected me to replace panels once this was put together and their answer was "we don't recommend painting the organizer". I finally followed up with a note about how I would have to use an ax to get it apart at this point and if it could be returned all cut up in pieces? No response thus far. At this point I realized that Closet Maid has customer service people who don't read the e-mails and have one response to cut and paste into customer inquiries. I did cover one problem area by installing a drawer and have found a furniture touch up pen in a close enough color to match the chocolate finish. Suggestion is to open the box in the store and check out every piece before leaving as it is really heavy and very, very inconvenient to try to return this and if you have to wait on replacement parts this weekend project could turn into a month long ordeal or you can live with the defects.

I assembled and hung the unit in an evening. Nice quality and clear instructions. Preferred the price of this unit over more expensive brands.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0Â by 33647 Great purchase
I have a smaller closet and this fit perfectly. A lot more storage and looks great. Easy to assemble though I did use 40 pound metal wall anchors and not the plastic ones that were included.
