Living room lights hold two bulbs, so paired a 5000K bulb with 2700K bulb to accommodate the task at hand. Works great! Very satisfied.
Also, pictured here is the Cree9.5-Watt A19 Warm White (2700K) purchased for bathroom and living room, and the EcoSmartBR30 9-Watt (65W) Soft White (2700K) LED Flood Light purchased for kitchen can lighting.
Very satisfied, 2700K bulbs no different than incandescent lighting.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JeffreyAllenSac Put 18 of these on my wife's vanity mirror - looks like a Hollywood dressing area!
My wife wanted a makeup mirror like the Hollywood actresses (presumably) use. She wanted daylight balanced bulbs and needed something that wouldn't burn hot, but would be very bright. 18 of these around the mirror did the trick! She can see perfectly every inch of her face and knows exactly how the makeup is laying around every contour.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by dcline Fantastic in Refrigerator
I have been a long time user of CFL bulbs, but had never purchased an LED bulb until I needed to replace the incandescent bulbs in my refrigerator. CFL bulbs do not reach full brightness very quickly in cold environments, and do not last as long when frequently turned on and off for short periods. Incandescent bulbs use more energy and produce a lot of heat, which is bad in a refrigerator.
These bulbs produce a very clean, bright white (with a crisp blueish hue), and the wash of light covers all directions very evenly. I have seen many new high-end refrigerators with LED lighting, and the color of these bulbs is virtually identical.
This is a simple upgrade that saves energy, reduces heat, and gives the refrigerator a very modern updated appearance. Highly recommended!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by tooltimes great light output
we have two lights in the kitchen that takes three bulbs, have them on motion detection switches and with the CFL bulbs it only works two CFL bulbs or they flicker all the time and have to put in a regular bulb for them to work correctly, with the LED bulbs it works great and no need for a regular bulb and they come on instant so you don't have to wait for them too warm up to get a bright light when they come on,really great output of light for all the LED bulbs on the market and great price, can't wait too change all the lights in the house now :-)

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Tommy Not good in exposed bulb fixture
I bought this bulb to replace some CFL bulbs (due to long warm up time of CFL) in kitchen fixtures where the bulb is exposed. The CFL's I had been using are the ones with the glass globe around the fluorescent tube (the tube element is NOT exposed). For some reason this type of CFL takes WAY longer to come up to full brightness compared to normal exposed tube CLF's. Most of my bulbs are exposed tube CFL's hidden in fixtures. The exposed tube CFL's take under a minute to reach full brightness. The ones with the extra globe around the fluorescent tube take up to 5 minutes to reach full brightness.
This LED has a ring of LEDS that is VERY bright. So bright that it is blinding if viewed directly. The CFL does a great job of distributing the illumination across the surface of the globe (similar to an old fashioned incandescent bulb). The ring of LED's in this bulb is WAY too bright to use this bulb in an application where it can be viewed directly. Please see attached pictures of LED bulb and CFL.

I purchased a 4 pack of the 60w equivalent daylight Cree bulbs. So far I've had two go out on me. The first time I took it back to HD they wanted me to mail the bulb back to Cree, even after only having the bulb for less than a week but replaced it anyway. Now my 2nd bulb has gone out and I'm going to be taking it back today. We'll see how it goes.
I'm going to hold off purchasing any more of these Cree bulbs for now until I have a bit more history with the ones I have and don't have any other issues.
