Living room lights hold two bulbs, so paired a 5000K bulb with 2700K bulb to accommodate the task at hand. Works great! Very satisfied.
Also, pictured here is the Cree9.5-Watt A19 Warm White (2700K) purchased for bathroom and living room, and the EcoSmartBR30 9-Watt (65W) Soft White (2700K) LED Flood Light purchased for kitchen can lighting.
Very satisfied, 2700K bulbs no different than incandescent lighting.

I have been a long time user of CFL bulbs, but had never purchased an LED bulb until I needed to replace the incandescent bulbs in my refrigerator. CFL bulbs do not reach full brightness very quickly in cold environments, and do not last as long when frequently turned on and off for short periods. Incandescent bulbs use more energy and produce a lot of heat, which is bad in a refrigerator.
These bulbs produce a very clean, bright white (with a crisp blueish hue), and the wash of light covers all directions very evenly. I have seen many new high-end refrigerators with LED lighting, and the color of these bulbs is virtually identical.
This is a simple upgrade that saves energy, reduces heat, and gives the refrigerator a very modern updated appearance. Highly recommended!

we have two lights in the kitchen that takes three bulbs, have them on motion detection switches and with the CFL bulbs it only works two CFL bulbs or they flicker all the time and have to put in a regular bulb for them to work correctly, with the LED bulbs it works great and no need for a regular bulb and they come on instant so you don't have to wait for them too warm up to get a bright light when they come on,really great output of light for all the LED bulbs on the market and great price, can't wait too change all the lights in the house now :-)

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JeffreyAllenSac Put 18 of these on my wife's vanity mirror - looks like a Hollywood dressing area!
My wife wanted a makeup mirror like the Hollywood actresses (presumably) use. She wanted daylight balanced bulbs and needed something that wouldn't burn hot, but would be very bright. 18 of these around the mirror did the trick! She can see perfectly every inch of her face and knows exactly how the makeup is laying around every contour.

I use these LED bulbs in my outdoor light fixtures.
The fixtures are lantern style with beveled clear glass.
I modified the light bulb by carefully removing the exterior frosted bulb revealing the LED tower inside.
Without the cover the LEDs are super bright and look very nice in my light fixtures.
It is equivalent to using clear incandescent bulbs giving that super bright concentration of light and enhancing the look of the light fixtures.
It would be nice if they manufactured these bulbs with a clear bulb exterior.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HappywithCreeinAlaska Cree daylight led works great in kitchen
We bought 2 to try and went back for more because we were so pleased with them. Packaging was easy to open, just tear or peel the cardboard apart and plastic comes right out, then easy to open plastic for bulb. Instant on brightness of this led is better than CFL because there's no warm up time and these light up our kitchen better. Protective safety coating feels different at first, but isn't a problem. We also like that they will save on the electric bill and hope they last as long as they say-cause the cfls we had didn't last as long as they were supposed to. If you enjoy the color of incandescents, you should buy the warm white instead of the daylight.
