Well we spent all this money to have our floors redone....and then we thought the grout we had chosen just wasn't right. This product stained and sealed and gave the floors the look we wanted. Applied with a squirt bottle (like the ketchup/mustard bottles) and a tooth brush, quickly wiping as you go. Do small sections. Will stain tile if you don't wipe quick enough.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Richierich03 Okay colorant.
We used this to darken our grout after it was installed because the grout was not the color it was supposed to be. It does an okay job. Installation is a pain but take your time and you will be okay. Not sure how well it will hold up because you are basically painting your grout.

Really fixed up my ugly stained grout. It looks like new. A little messy to use but well worth the effort.

I have hated the grout in my home since moving in. I decided to try the grout renew and what a complete transformation. The application was easy and the transformation was incredible. It looks like a new floor, even the tile looks new. I highly recommend it and I am sure I will use it again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by geemunny Mapei Grout Refresh is superior product
This product does work but the labor involved was far more rigorous than the Mapei Grout Refresh product. I bought the Mapei at Lowes first but the color was too light and Lowes didn't have anything darker. So I bought the Polyblend grout renew from Home depot since they had the color I wanted (Sandstone) in stock. In hindsight, I wish I waited the week to order a similar color in the Mapei product. The Mapei product is so simple to use. You just use a tooth brush and rub the cream into the grout lines, wait 30 to 60 minutes and then mist the floor with a water spray bottle and wipe off the excess grout paint from the tile simply and efficiently while the grout lines remain the painted color. The Polyblend product states right in the directions not to let the cream dry on the tile, so I was a little stressed about getting excess cream on the tile while I was applying it to the grout. Because you can't let it dry, I was cleaning as I was going and it seemed like I was constantly wiping off the cream I had just applied. Inevitably I ended up getting excess on the tile and it took me three thorough scrubbings to get it all off the tile. So frustrating. I'll never use this product again. I'm actually going back to the Mapei product of a similar color and doing another round of application so I don't have to do the second coat with this frustrating product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Planter After thought. Wanted grout darker than store had available.
Easy to use. Wipe it on and wipe it off with wet sponge and it's done.
Small areas, use a small paint brush.
It is just like paint. Try it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by happy2ndhomeowner Love this product!!! Great results!
The previous homeowners added a new shower addition and used Polyblend grout for our shower in "Summer Wheat" to complement the new tile walls of our shower. Since they did not lay new floor tile, they treated the existing floor tile grout with Polyblend "Sandstone" Grout Renew to re-color the old grout. While this looked nice, I preferred to update the floor grout tile color with the same color as the new shower grout, since it was available online in the Grout Renew product in the same color hue "Summer Wheat". Am I glad I did!!! It really warmed up the floor and compliments the new shower tile addition to make the entire bathroom renovation look seamless and cohesive! This product is super easy to use, following the directions given, and I love the result. I attached a few photos mid-way through the process so you can see the difference of the "Sandstone" color (which was the previous homeowners choice and is a bit more gray) against the warmer color of "Summer Wheat"! I love my results and am thrilled with this product!!!
