I came home one day to find that the door shattered while no one was home. How does that even happen? I am just glad I was not in the shower while it happened. After getting an approval for a replacement, I was given a very hard time by home depot because they do not understand the process of replacements through delta. I also had to figure out how to get it home, because the replacement was not shipped. I opened the box today to get my replacement piece and I then saw that a corner was damaged. I am livid! I just want a functional shower and now all I have a is a headache. Something is either wrong with the packaging or with the quality of this item.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Vandi Looks Great Installed
I purchased this shower in Sept 2016. We installed it with the 38X38 neo angle base. The walls went up easy on the sides. We waited until the next day to install the door. The door apparently had a hair line fracture in it and was noticed after installation. In trying to take the door down it shattered into a thousand pieces cuttting the installer and all. Home Depot on Reistertown Rd in MD. was contacted and the employees especially one of the Managers Sean Chick made sure we were taken care of and exchanged what was left of the old door for a new one. The new door was installed successfully and looks great!!!!
Thank you Home Depot for your professionalism.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by AGKansas Perfect! but chrome is really brushed nickel...
I had it professionally installed in my kids bathroom. It looks amazing! Excellent quality. Only issue was it said "chrome" on the website and packaging so I purchased chrome shower fittings and faucets - and it is brushed nickel or stainless!! It was too late to change so I unfortunately have a mix and match bathroom!! Despite that I am still satisfied with the result and would recommend - just check the color of ALL your fittings before installation!

The install was fairly easy with three people took 1 to 2 hours. Had an issue with the glass panels I had two left panels with the holes for the hinges in both sides. Called delta and they were no help so I ended up having to buy another one and swap the part out and return it since the shower was already installed when we discovered the problem. The shower leaked around the walls the first time I used it but went back and siliconed the heck out of it so that should stop that I hope. Use plenty of clear silicone on the bottom and where it meets the walls. Beautiful shower for the money. I didn't use the walls kit I tiled the walls for about the same price as the cost of the walls kit.

I just installed this. After reading reviews and doing a lot of research, I ended up installing this on my 39inch base. It for just fine. I have the caulk drying right now. This really makes the brand new bathroom remodel I just did stand out. I glad I bought this.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JoeK Versatile design, easy to install.
Just did a complete renovation on our spare bathroom. We wanted to keep a tight budget and have nice fixtures, not an easy task. We went with this enclosure and the matching base as we were able to see it in our local store instead of buying sight unseen. A 10% off coupon also made it the lowest cost unit. We were quite impressed by the sturdiness of the base, and I like the simple lines in the enclosure. When you install, strive for square and plumb lines, however, the enclosure allows for some irregularity. Delta cannot help if you don't have a level and plumb base. After gutting the bathroom completely, installation was a breeze. My only hope is that it continues to look nice, and if it ever corrodes as all enclosures will... that HD and Delta will have a similarly sized replacement.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Papa Used the base, surround and the neo angle shower enclosure....Came out great.
Experienced leader ...a person who had installed many systems over the last number of years...
This is helpful....Also the instructions are complete On the surround you do need a couple of installation items that do not come with the three piece section. The result of following the in store personnel and having a person with prior experience made our project come out great.....use the adhesives, screws, and measurements as outlined......door is great ..fits nice.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Alan Nice unit, some install issues, but nothing that couldn't be resolved
I'm a relatively experienced handyman, own several apartments and mostly do my own rehabs. Installed one of these complete units (base, walls, enclosure) for the first time last week. Having done so once, I would do it differently next time, but end result was good. My comments are intended to help the next installer.
First, the instructions say to use builders felt for any leveling of the base. It is much better to make a base out of half-wet mortar. Set it in place, walk around the inside of the base, then let it dry for 24 hrs. Still, despite having a flat (durorock) floor, it needed adhesive to stabilize the outer edges which are slightly higher than the floor base.
Next, the shower wall install: It goes smoothly, but you will need MUCH more bracing for the glueup than the instructions show. Brace the center of the walls, the stud side frames and the center corner. Once you have your braces set, check to make sure you are squarely in the corner (from the top). Our bathroom was small, so it was easy to brace to the opposite walls.
Finally, to install the glass walls, ignore the instructions that say to mount the wall supports 34 1/2 inches from the wall. It's a rounded wall. 34 inches from where?? Instead, install the top and bottom middle supports to the glass side panels and set the enclosure structure on the base. Adjust the side panels to be square, level and aesthetically oriented to the base and walls. Draw a vertical line where the panel frames meet the walls and install the supports there.
Everything else was pretty easy and by the book. I had no significant gaps to caulk as reported by others.
Hope this helps!
