I must be doing something wrong... after completely remodelling the bathroom myself, installing new vanity, mirror, cabinet, lights, fan - the works, the towel bar should have been the easiest thing as a finishing touch, but the holders clamp on via a spring loaded installation bracket and the "spring" simply wouldn't budge... I ripped the whole piece out of the drywall pushing up to push the spring in, as the directions stated. Now I'm up for at least an hour of repair work to fix the holes I made trying to put this in (and losing the very specific bracket in the wall... so what do I do now?).
The other reviewers must have known something I didn't... I'm hardly a novice at reparing and installation, this just didn't want to go.
On the upside, it's a nice looking piece, good quality materials. It's a really nice towel rack... but I'm dreading trying to put the matching pieces in.

This product feels like a quality product, but it's got some serious issues. The anchors that come with the #8 screws are too flimsy. We kept wondering why they would seem solid one moment and then become loose, so I took one out of the wall to inspect it. The 3 wings on these anchors are supposed to expand as you tighten the screws. In fact, if they work correctly, you should never be able to remove them after they're installed, But these anchors are so flimsy that the "wings" twist rather than open. As a result, even if you get the brackets somewhat tight, they make a strange "crunchy" sound and I'm afraid they'll loosen over time. I thought of replacing them and I have a large stock of anchors in my workshop, but none were thin enough for the tiny #8 screw holes in the brackets. Another huge problem is that the template for the 18" towel bar is 1/4" too large. We double checked and we're certain. And since the bar inserts into the bracket only 1/4" on each side, a template error of 1/4" will cause the bar to fall out. Of course, it's impossible to put another hole with an anchor only 1/4" away from another anchor hole because the two holes become one huge hole. By the way, like one of the other reviewers who gave these towel bars a low grade, I'm a very capable DIYer. I totally gutted this bathroom and replaced drywall, wiring, tub, shower surround, floor and built the cabinets myself. So trust me when I say: This product looks good and even feels substantial in your hand, but it will never hold up to years of normal use. I definitely would have returned these towel bars if I knew I could find other bars that would cover the same holes.

Flawless. Easy to install and sturdy. The brushed nickle finish is perfect and finishes the nice set.

Quality is what I expected from Moen. You just have to make sure you have the holes aligned right. Had to get shorter secured screws due to the included ones were to long.
