We purchased two of these toilets for our home. Both toilets continually get hung. The chain design allows it to form a loop and get stuck on itself allowing the water to continuously run. We adjusted the chain length and continue to have the same issue. So, every time you flush you have to make sure it quits running or you may come home to find water flooding your house as we did. The water ran all day while we were at work filling up our septic tank and causing the water to come back into the house. I will NEVER purchase another Delta toilet.

I have now purchased and installed four of these complete units from Delta and have nothing but praise for this product. Obviously, someone who has installed toilets came up with this clever design and included everything the average DIY person would need! Unless you're replacing an older toilet with some kind of odd hardware (not unusual) that must be removed, everything you need is in the box. It comes with an unusually long supply line which is handy if your water supply cut-off valve is not close to the toilet.
The design of the tank fits into more narrow spaces than previous models and the tank only has one hole (the main drain to the bowl) below the waterline rather than the more-traditional inlet for the water supply and two or three holes for bolts to attach the tank to the bowl. On this model, the water inlet supply line comes into the tank above the waterline and the mounting bolts are attached to a flange around the main drain. All of these "eliminations" reduce the chances for future leaks.
I've been installing and replacing toilets for 45 years and this is the first big improvement I've seen since tanks were placed directly on the bowls rather than having a piped connection. As you can tell, I'm way too excited about something like a toilet design!

Everything about this toilet seems smart and well thought out. The water supply line is included and goes to the top of the fill tank, eliminating a common leak point and negating the need to buy a supply line. The downside of this is that if the fill mechanism fails, it must be replaced by and identical one from the manufacturer, unlike standard mechanisms that can be replaced by various types.
Installation was a breeze. The toilet comes with a kit including virtually everything you need to remove an old toilet and install the new one. The wax ring included is the ‘funnel’ type, with a pcv center that fits directly into the sewage pipe.
The toilet set has a snap-on/off feature making removal for cleaning very simple (note that a more traditional seat can be used, however). The seat itself is simple plastic and not very substantial. This toilet seems about an inch higher than the old round one I replaced. Flush is complete, but because of shallow water level in the bowl, surface matter sometimes remains.

I've removed and installed way too many toilets in my life, so I think I can confidently say that Delta has created a design and included some "extras" that make this toilet a notch above the rest.
Let's start with installation. It was a breeze for several reasons. Most toilets today come with just about everything you need for an easy install. What makes this toilet different is that Delta actually included a Toilet Removal Kit. I've never seen that before; I think it's a great idea. It wasn't anything outstanding, just practical items that help make the removal of the old toilet a bit easier. For example, they've included a super absorbent sponge, towel, and scraper. The scraper really helped get rid of the old wax ring and calcification that can build up under the toilet. Delta also included a specialized little tool that is used to tighten all of the bolts and even tighten the fill line to the valve. I've seen these before, but this tool actually worked as advertised and was easy to use. Finally, the toilet's fill line came pre-installed. This, again, is a great idea and something that I've never seen before. I can't speak to the quality of the line, it seems fine but a little light compared to the stainless steel lines that are available everywhere.
On a negative note, the hardware necessary to install the seat was not included in the box. I've installed Delta products before, so even though I haven't called Customer Service yet, I expect that it will be a breeze to get a kit delivered to the house without any questions. This also speaks to the flushing hardware inside of the tank. It certainly is not standard, and when it needs replacing I'm not sure I'll be able to head down to Home Depot to purchase it. However, I have called Delta in the past because of worn out parts, and they were great. I've never had to pay for anything, even a 20 year old shower cartridge that failed on me. There's a reason why so a many people purchase Delta products, quality and good customer support.

The toilet is definitely easy to install and looks nice. For the price, it seems like a decent value. It's a substantial size, generally sturdy, and seems like it would be pretty comfortable for most people. The bowl stays pretty clean and decently repels the unsavory stuff, which is a plus.
My gripes are these:
We have this in a spare bathroom that doesn't get a ton of use, but yet seat never stays tight. It slips around and is always out of alignment. It drives me crazy.
Also, after about a year, this toilet is now very weak on the flush and slow on the fill, and you have to flush it several times to clear the bowl. I'm not sure what the deal is.
Anyway, I would rate it as just about average overall but probably wouldn't recommend it given the above.
For the first year, it worked great. Now not so much. I thought toilets were supposed to perform longer.

Installation was easy, but after 2 months it leaks about 3 mins. after you flush, all day, had to prop up float after adjusting it 12 times. now I have an easy to install toilet that I can't use. Nice.
very dissapointed with Delta. Also seat slides all over even after constant tightening.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by PJCC Quiet, beautiful toilet, space and water saver.
Beautifully slim white toilet gives a small bathroom a spacious appearance. It's easier to clean the floor when a toilet is higher off the ground.
This was my first toilet installation. After two Home Depot seminars I thought I knew what to expect. I stressed after chipping out the old toilet flange and installed a new one. After that, saying this installation was easy is a triumph for Delta.
Everything I needed was included but the Silicone for under the toilet base. The three prong trident is a screw tightener.
The Toilet Removal Kit includes a plastic bag, sponge, disposable towel and plastic scraper. You might need an extra towel and a plastic bowl to catch water when you replace the water line.
During installation the large shipping box was used to turn the toilet over for installation. If you're alone, don't take it out of the box.
A high quality 36" plus water supply line is included, 13 inches of it run down the back of the toilet.
I've never seen the Delta hardware used on the inside of the toilet. I hope it is not expensive when it needs replacing. The flushing is quiet. The water conservation feature was tested. I filled the tank with a bucket of water. Based on the water left in the bucket it uses about 1/3 less water than the tank of the builder's toilet I removed.
Downside is the bowl does not fill up with water, pictured. You will be cleaning the bowl more often.
While the additional height from the ground, 18 1/4 inches to the top of the toilet seat, makes it less comfortable for person's under 5'3". The extra space the slim fit gives on both sides of the toilet and the higher seat are good for people using handicap walkers.
The plastic toilet seat is too lightweight. I need a seat lock around pets. The removable toilet seat locking system looks good for cleaning, but has plastic parts that wear and break with time, pictured. The metal handle is not as sleek a design as the toilet. Not quite 5 Stars.
Fun to install in a bathroom getting a makeover, it makes an immediate first impression.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by ToyaT Very water efficient when it's not leaking!
I purchased three of these a little over a yea ago. I love the look, height an water efficiency when it is not leaking! I found out the hard way that my basement guest toilet was leaking when my main sewer line was blocked and the toilet flooded the finished basement. Since then I have had to end the use of the toilet and I cut off it's water source. The same with my master bedroom toilet. I noticed it was leaking water when I kept hearing the valve refilling the toilet every five minutes, similar to DannyM below. So now I am down to one toilet and I still can't figure out what is causing the leaks! To add to everything, the seats do not stay in place! No matter how many times I have tightened the bolts, every time someone sits on the seat they slide left or right!
