Do you have to install the soap dispenser too (or can you leave it off)?

I do not want to install the soap dispenser. Is this optional?
Asked by: MommaGoddess
You can leave it off as long as you have a cap for the hole in your sink (if you had a spray or soap hole before).

is there a coverplate to cover 2 extra holes?

Asked by: Anonymous
The Delta deluca comes with an optional chrome cover plate for the extra two holes. I only had one hole in my counter, so I tossed the cover plate. Installation is simple with or without the plate.

Is the Delta DeLuca kitchen faucet finish true stainless steel or another material. One reviewer thought it was painted plastic.

Asked by: Anonymous
It's definitely a true stainless steel. It does NOT look cheap nor feel cheap. It feels and looks very high-end to me.

DeLuca Single-Handle Pull-Down Sprayer Kitchen Faucet with Soap Dispenser in Stainless is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 227.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from good faucet, too bad it's sole offering . . . This is a good strong product. I've had mine a couple of years. I want another one. I don't want the soap dispenser, too bad I can't order it without the soap dispenser. I can order a second soap dispenser, but not a second faucet. I profoundly don't understand this. Also, why wouldn't a successful, strong, desirable design like this be available in a compatible other size for additional sinks in a kitchen or pantry or other use? Guess I've learned something here. Before buying, ask about parts, other compatible models, and ability to buy replacement components without getting the whole box full. Sorry Delta, I'm looking elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great ,sleek looking faucet We installed this a week ago, so we are early in the lifecycle but we love it so far. A great faucet, very sleek looking. We were comparing another brand, but went with this, especially after a home depot staffer who was a plumber highly recommended Delta. We are glad we did. Features: The magnalock on the wand works well. For easy pull out simply rotate the head and the magnets repel. The spray head is solidly attached to the hose and can be easily replaced if needed. It comes with a wrench if you need to remove the aerator. We weren't so sure on this connection with other brands. A prior reviewer complained the handle had to be centered to turn off, a feature we actually like and haven't had any issues with. Turning off it wants to naturally center and we have had no issues of it not getting fully off. It works smoothly and ensures the handle is centered when off which looks good. The finish looks great and overall the faucet is solidly built. We installed with the estanchion plate and like that look. A prior reviewer noted it can show water spots, but these wipe off easily. Installation: The Instructions are clear and it was easy to install. It took us about 40 mins. It took longer getting our old one out. I really like the integrated supply lines, which makes things simpler. They are plenty long for any install. It comes with a wrench for the tightening nut at the base of the faucet to the sink which was very handy. Make sure you flush the supply lines per instructions. Doing that and the 2 mode spray works great, there are no leaks or erratic spray pattern. Conclusion: We are very happy with our choice, and glad we went with delta.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Kitchem Faucet This faucet system with the soap dispenser is a fantastic addition to the kitchen. The sprayer faucet makes it easy to use a wide spray or a direct spray to water plants, and clean dishes. The pull down feature makes it easy to clean the sink, giving more reach with the head to get closer to the sink. The feature of allowing you to stop the water flow by the use of a button on the head makes it where you don't spray across the divider between the two sinks. The finish is very unique. The design is modern and well put together. Installation is a breeze. Having the lines marked to know what is hot and cold is a great plus

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek design; good faucet We have a black kitchen sink and decided we wanted to go with a black faucet as well. I’m a big fan of Delta products due to the quality and durability, but also because they’ve provided good customer service whenever I’ve needed to contact the company. The faucet has a matte finish with a very attractive sleek modern design and it goes well with the black matter finish on my composite sink. I like that you don’t have to hold down the trigger while using the sprayer. The kit comes with cover plate if you have three holes in your sink. As with most faucets these days, the installation was as simple and easy as working under a sink can be. It’s a heavy weight and the quality is good. If you’re looking for a black faucet that’s easy to use, easy to install, good quality and with good customer service, then this one is for you.

Ask me how many times I've had to wipe water off the floor, counters and cabinet because when turned on, the water splatters everywhere no matter how careful I am. The one redeeming part is the pull-out sprayer; otherwise, I wouldn't buy or refer this model again. Will probably have it uninstalled and purchase something more user friendly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to install, works well. This faucet is easy to install, 30 minutes to remove the old one and hook this one up. During installation my wife read me every review where someone had problems with the faucet, and I could see the buyer's remorse creeping in. Let me give you a few tips. Someone complained that the pull out water line was simply a press fit connection. When I turned on the sink water came out the faucet for 10 seconds then stopped, but the water was still flowing. I turned it off, looked under the sink, and thought, oh, I bet that blue clip sitting on the counter is supposed to hold that connection together. Problem solved. Others complained about the integrated supply lines. At least in my house I could change the angle of the supply shutoff valves slightly and route the supply lines at the back of the cabinet to get a nice big bend. Think creatively once everything was in it's place, the faucet works great and looks fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Does everything we wanted Was easy to install...Couldn't get the hot water to flow initially, but finally discovered the slide adjustment hidden under the handle....Once I moved the slide all the way to the right, the hot water flowed just like we wanted...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from 2 quick questions Hello All, I installed this on Sunday, install was a breeze and it looks great. However I have 2 questions: 1- Is the water stream thinner on this faucet? I don't feel I have a flow problem as the stream is good, it just seems thinner then my past faucets. Normal? 2- The lever angle seems less at 100% hot, then at 100% cold. What I mean is, lets say cold can do to a 60% angle when 100% cold, when at 100% hot it seems to maybe only go to say 50%. Because of this I do not feel I am able to get 100% how water as there is always a bit of cold being streamed in? Is this normal? Thanks all for the help. Felix
