On a standard shower connection, can this shower head point almost straight down? I have a stall shower and don't want the shower head pointing toward the other side of the shower.

The weight of the hose may pull the handle down which can cause the shower head to angle more "out" than "down". This can be corrected by CAREFULLY tightening the gland nut around the ball joint. There is a "Ball" adjustment fitting at the base of the shower head that allows for some angle of adjustment, however, based on the extension pipe that is installed in most showers, this will not allow a 90 degree angle change. You won't be able to point the rainhead straight down but you can point the removable center part and point it in any direction. If you set the diverter to send the water flow to the handheld piece only, you could control the water that comes from the rainhead.

Hi Pinkie,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 75483D will adjust up or down on the nut about 19 degrees. Depending on the size of your shower, it may or may not be enough to angle it down.
Thanks.

Sadly there is NO Way to turn off the water while the shower water valves are on. Yes you can turn the water off and back on but then you have to pull the tub spout or lift the button on the tub spout each time. My spout has to be pulled down so you have to lean down to do that. It gets harder as one ages.

There is a cross knob on the side of the shower that you can turn. It selects the handheld, or the ring shower, or both, or neither to allow just enough of a trickle to maintain your set water temperature.

When you want more water, just move the lever back to the desired spray pattern.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Low flow, no go For the money this was a fine replacement for an old worn out shower head. When using just the center hand held head, everything is fine. The problem is with the outer ring. First, when the dial is set to outer ring only, the water pretty much sprays around your head and body. Well, duh, there's a great big gap in the stream middle where your body is so I don't think the engineers ever actually took a shower with their flashy new design. Secondly, if you set the dial to BOTH inner and outer to solve your gap issues, the pressure is seriously diminished. We have always had sufficient water pressure at our house so I believe the problem is with the low flow restrictions inside the unit and not specific to our water supply. The thing is, this looks all modern and classy, but in my opinion the outer ring is just not a functional upgrade. June 24, 2016
