Customer Questions & Answers

can this faucet be used in a single hole with no deckplate ?

my requirements for a kitchen faucet are for a single hole configuration, and no deckplate/escucheon plate. will this kitchen faucet work / install under these requirements ? Thankyou for your help
Asked by: Anonymous
My sink has a single hole configuration and the faucet was installed without a deckplate. My sink configuration would not allow the use of the deckplate.

Does the faucet base swivel?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it does. It swivels about 90 degrees, which is more than enough to hit both sides of a dual sink.

Can this faucet be installed without the deck plate?

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it can. They give you the triple hole deck plate (which you can discard) or the single hole plate.

What material is the pullout - metal or "plastic" ?

Asked by: Anonymous
It's plastic. The spray/stream selector works great. Way better than the top push button on earlier model.

Signature Single-Handle Pull-Out Sprayer Kitchen Faucet in Chrome is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 93.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Never was happy Have had this for some time. Once it was off warrantee the faucet never sprayed properly when using the spray option. Water sprayed everywhere. So we stopped using that option. A little while after the coil on the pull out started to seperate, so we stopped using that option. We used the pullout option very little during the life of our faucet for those reasons, and find ourselves having to replace the faucet in an emergency situation as the coil has totally failed and has been leaking under our cabinet and now water is going everywhere. Should have returned it when I noticed it was hard to switch from regular water flow to spray. Very disappointed.

We bought this faucet 14 years ago and have LOVED it every single day since. We have very acidic water here, and we realized recently it had become corroded. I shopped around to see if there was anything else that could compete, and nothing could touch it. Those tall faucets splash all over the place, and, especially with the pull out sprayer head, there is absolutely no reason for that. We have installed the 2016 version (in which the design is the same, but the guts have evolved), and we now LOVE this one. It's easy to use, retracts right back, and switches from direct flow to spray with a touch of one of your fingers already holding it. TERRIFIC design. I hope they consider making it in more finishes for the future. It is a CLASSIC.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from The new America...make it as cheap as possible! I bought this Delta faucet to replace a Delta faucet that was 10-11 years old. What a difference! The only thing that Delta didn't cheapen up was the price! The quality has DRASTICALLY declined!! It is made out of the cheapest possible parts, to maximize profit. It works, but for how long is the question. Instead of copper and other metals, now they utilize as much cheap plastic as possible. What a change! Installation was very easy, but the quality is borderline embarrassing. If you need a faucet, I would recommend you seek out a different brand!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding customer support. I have a twenty year old kitchen faucet on which the wand recently broke. I telephoned Delta and they graciously offered to replace the entire faucet at no cost, based on their 'life time' warranty program. The customer service representative was knowledgeable, pleasant and could not have been more supportive. In today's society, what other company honors a twenty year old warranty? When making your next purchase, I encourage you to consider, Delta not only manufactures superior products, they also honor their commitments to their customers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Side Mount vs Under Mount Buttons The feature that sold me on this faucet was the location of the buttons for switching from spray to stream mode. Most faucets have the button(s) on the underside. When comparing the side mount buttons with under mount buttons on various faucets I found the side mount style to be more comfortable in my hand. The faucet has been in use for only a month now but I'm satisfied with the quality and performance so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Expect long lasting performance. Like many earlier models of items of all kinds, my single handle faucet doesn't feel as substantial as my past model. It seems a little flimsier and the water stream and power is not as strong. Although my previous faucet lasted many years, I am not as confident about this latest white model. However, I would recommend the products. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Instead of repairing it, we decided to get a new one, but after looking at many faucets, we didn't find anything we liked better, so we purchased the same model. It was easy to install and functions in a very practical way with the pull out faucet and the two way spray.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Leaks after seven months. Brand new house and after only seven months this faucet started leaking under the handle and out the spout. Luckily we were home and caught it early or the water leaking under the handle that went under the sink would have caused significant damage. No water to the kitchen sink until it can be repaired. Would not buy again.
