Product Overview

Diablo’s Solid Carbide up Spiral Router Bits combine effective chip removal with a cut that can’t be matched by standard straight bits. Featuring TiCo carbide with titanium, these bits provide a long cutting life and ultra-fine finish. Perma-shield, Diablo's high performance coating, reduces friction and build-up on the bits. The bits kick-back reducing design allows for safer, more controlled cuts. These bits are computer balanced for a smooth and accurate cut. Customer Reviews

1/2 in. Up Spiral Router Bit is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke within 10 minutes of normal use On white oak plunging a 1" deep hole....in 10 minutes one cutting tooth snapped off. The router's collet was tight and the bit hadn't slipped. I normally think very highly of Freud. But this one was a total fail. Replaced it with a Whiteside bit of same description and (surprisingly) less cost....and that was a total success. I will attempt a local store return.
