Product Overview

Simplify your grout-extraction chores with this 1/16 in. Carbide Grout Removal Bit. When used in conjunction with the separately sold Dremel Grout Removal Attachment (model 568), it precisely pulverizes old grout behind the power of a rotary tool. When the grout bordering your wall or floor tile runs its course or becomes permanently soiled, let this heavy-duty carbide bit remove it with ease.

  • A high speed cutter with a 1/8 in. steel shank
  • Carbide-grit tip provides extra bite to blast through hardened grout
  • Ideal for removing grout to replace broken, marred or worn tiles
  • Not intended for use above 18,000 RPM
  • For ease of operation, use with Dremel grout removal attachment (model 568)
  • For best results, insert the accessory bit all the way into the tool and then back it out slightly before tightening down

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Grout Removal Bit This bit worked perfectly for removing grout in my shower. June 28, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broke within 1 min Broke within 1 minute of use. Probably only useful for delicate work. February 6, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by A Life Saver When new, this bit really gets the grout fast. At still gets the grout out of the tiles but the tip breaks a bit too easy. I realize it is a small shaft, but it would be nice if the tip would last longer and the shaft would not break . September 29, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great tool! Worked exactly as stated - you need to revise your review requirements. if i can ay it all in four words i should be allowed to July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Carbide Grout Removal Bit 1/16" You have to read and measure to make sure the correct amount of bit is below guide. If to much of the bit is below guide will cause bit to break. Proper insertion of bit and measure when guide is on will save the bit, and let the tool do the work don't try to push tool to fast. If you move the tool to fast will cause the bit to break. Their not cheap so do keep that in mind! March 12, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by it works If I had not used this bit I still would be trying to remove the grout out of my bathroom floor. Let the bit do all the work for you and take your time. You might want to buy more than one to start because they can break and you can always take the one you don't use back. February 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for Thin Line Grout Removal Purchased this as a back up bit for the one that came with the Grout Removal Kit in case I broke the bit. The original bit held up well after removing the grout from a 64 square foot area of 7 x 9 tiles. Dremel makes a high quality bit and would always recommend the purchase of genuine Dremel parts for your Dremel brand device. February 4, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A little pricey Cost is a little much, however for the job it does it works. It does wear out quickly and can break easily, but if you take care of it, it works well. Works in either a Dremel tool or a ROTOZIP tool. Had to purchase several because of the lack of durability of the item. July 4, 2014
