Broke within 1 minute of use. Probably only useful for delicate work.

When new, this bit really gets the grout fast. At still gets the grout out of the tiles but the tip breaks a bit too easy. I realize it is a small shaft, but it would be nice if the tip would last longer and the shaft would not break .

You have to read and measure to make sure the correct amount of bit is below guide. If to much of the bit is below guide will cause bit to break. Proper insertion of bit and measure when guide is on will save the bit, and let the tool do the work don't try to push tool to fast. If you move the tool to fast will cause the bit to break. Their not cheap so do keep that in mind!

If I had not used this bit I still would be trying to remove the grout out of my bathroom floor. Let the bit do all the work for you and take your time. You might want to buy more than one to start because they can break and you can always take the one you don't use back.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jetgasser Perfect for Thin Line Grout Removal
Purchased this as a back up bit for the one that came with the Grout Removal Kit in case I broke the bit. The original bit held up well after removing the grout from a 64 square foot area of 7 x 9 tiles. Dremel makes a high quality bit and would always recommend the purchase of genuine Dremel parts for your Dremel brand device.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by gscaleut A little pricey
Cost is a little much, however for the job it does it works. It does wear out quickly and can break easily, but if you take care of it, it works well. Works in either a Dremel tool or a ROTOZIP tool. Had to purchase several because of the lack of durability of the item.
