Customer Reviews

Duraheat Compact Convection Heater is rated 3.1 out of 5 by 10.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product I had this heater for a few months. The unit had a out of round burner assembly which made the flame irregular. The company replaced the assembly free of charge. Unit works very well. Kero Heaters required strict tolerances especially in the burner assembly. If you see a high flame on one side and it moves around when you rotate the assembly then the assembly is out of round. It has to be perfectly fit. Keep your wick clean by dry burning once a week..Use clear K-1. I purchased a Mrfunnel to clean Kero of dirt & water....

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Kero Heater This product has performed well, providing adequate heat and minimal odor. Adjusting the flame to the recommended level becomes easier to gauge with more usage.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from easy to use so far so good especially when your central air decides to break down for good!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bad deal Ordered this expecting a quality product. Got the worst one ever made. It leaks, you can not adjust the wick-it just does not work. It is going back today.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It's a piece of junk had to replace wick after 1st use, still uses too much kerosene, replacement wicks don't match with model number

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Need better instructions Had hard time understanding directions and what was what. Still not clear on some things. Apparently there is some maintenance req'd with wick which is hard to get to and involves a semi lengthly process. Heats my cold garage ok after a while. Also seems safe for emergency heat if power goes out but haven't tested it inside yet. Takes a while to light. Gotta babysit to make sure wick is out after use. Some odors involved with this too. Not as simple as i'd hoped. Not sure i would recommend this.
