Questions & Answers

Will this heater run off your standard, refillable barbecue type propane tank?

Asked by: kevin
yes it will, but as I have stated before, to get your moneys worth don't do an exchange of the tank. They only fill the tank with around 16 lbs of gas. Take it to a place that fills them and you will get your 20lbs worth for around the same price.

30K - 60K BTU LP Forced Air Propane Portable Heater is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 124.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is my 4th Dynamics’s-glo forced air propane heater. ... This is my 4th Dynamics’s-glo forced air propane heater. The perform well in the shop, but don’t last very long. They average about a year and a half, including no use for 4-5 summer months. The extended warranty has helped, but they are often not stocked in stores. I keep an extra.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Propane, portable heater! It had to be worked on, the fan would not turn, a screw head was in the way, easy fix, but lousy quality control. Once it was done, 40 minutes later, the little unit worked flawlessly. It easily heats a 30 foot x 36 foot garage with open attic and no insulation, bringing it up from 30 degrees to near 70, with the addition of a ceiling fan to move the air. It is comfortable to work in about 30 minutes, I turn it off when it reaches 70 at floor level, and turn on two 1500 watt (5200 btu's) electric heaters and they will then hold the heat at better than 60 degrees for 2-3 hours. Turn on the propane heater, 20 minutes, back near 70. Works great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great buy I live in Idaho and it does get cold. I bought this heater to heat my garage as I spend a lot of time on do it yourself projects. I have tried electric heaters and they love electricity. I switch to Kerosene heater and it smells and is bothersome to start, not to mention the fumes and the five gallon fuel cans you have to buy. So I decided I would try the forced air propane heater. Took a propane tank off the travel trailer since it is stored during the winter. Cranked it up and with in fifteen minutes my garage was nice and toasty. It puts out a lot of heat, time will tell.
