Customer Questions & Answers

Will this heater run off your standard, refillable barbecue type propane tank?

Asked by: kevin
yes it will, but as I have stated before, to get your moneys worth don't do an exchange of the tank. They only fill the tank with around 16 lbs of gas. Take it to a place that fills them and you will get your 20lbs worth for around the same price.

30K - 60K BTU LP Forced Air Propane Portable Heater is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 123.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but powerful The unit is a lot smaller than I expected. I never looked at the dimensions because I had already expected a large unit. It is about 1/3 the size I was expecting but this doesn't stop it from being extremely powerful. It heats my large 2 car garage in a matter of minutes allowing me to then shut it off for an hour or so before starting the process over again. Highly recommended product

One of the fan blades was slightly bent preventing fan rotation and, thus, heater operation. By removing the rear fan guard I could reach inside and straighten the bent blade. I reinstalled the fan guard and it works perfectly.

They average about a year and a half, including no use for 4-5 summer months. The extended warranty has helped, but they are often not stocked in stores. I keep an extra.

I have had a few of these style heaters over the years, both propane and multi-fuel. I've only had it a couple weeks, but so far it has surpassed expectations. Time will tell if it will hold up to extensive use. For now, it does a great job heating a 560 square foot workshop.

Ready to go right out of the box, works great in my two car garage leaving the man-door halfway open. Use 60K to warm up and 30K to maintain comfort with outside temp 15-25°. My old kerosene heater was just too smelly and choking my lungs - had to go.
