Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Portable Heater I just had a good reason to use the RMC-FA60DGD propane heater. My daughter barrowed my Ford E-150 van while her car was in the body shop. The second morning the van wouldn't start, the starter was out. Being tight, I decided to change the starter in her drive way with temperature at 11*F. I pointed the heater under the van and went to work. Soon I had to turn the heat from the highest setting to the lowest and worked without gloves, completing the job without getting could at all. I was impressed. January 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cold garage?? Not anymore! Picked this gem up on a 30 degree day to warm up my 2 car garage. The garage is just a standard uninsulated garage attached to our house, about 22x25'. I pulled the heater out of the box, hooked up the propane and let'er rip. Six minutes on high and the garage went from mid 30's to T-shirt status. Once it was warm I turned it on low and it stayed nice and toasty. The unit is way smaller than I had pictured as well. It's is mega light and portable. I will say that, like any forced air heater, it is loud. But, for a $Benjamin this little dude is a rockstar. December 18, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great buy I live in Idaho and it does get cold. I bought this heater to heat my garage as I spend a lot of time on do it yourself projects. I have tried electric heaters and they love electricity. I switch to Kerosene heater and it smells and is bothersome to start, not to mention the fumes and the five gallon fuel cans you have to buy. So I decided I would try the forced air propane heater. Took a propane tank off the travel trailer since it is stored during the winter. Cranked it up and with in fifteen minutes my garage was nice and toasty. It puts out a lot of heat, time will tell. November 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Super Fast Propane Heater! This propane heater really packs HEAT. Warms our uninsulated garage quickly and keeps it comfortable so we can continue working on our hobbies - motorcycles and cars during the winter. January 26, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Better than expected! This heater is so superior to the one it replaced. Easier to light, several built-in safety features. I used it in my Michigan 2 1/2 car garage in 20 degree temperatures and it was able not only to take the chill off, but make it a workable space. A 20# propane tank lasted anywhere from 8 - 10 hours, depending on how high I turned the control. December 10, 2014
