These turned out even better than I had expected. They were thicker than I thought they'd be, the material was sturdy, and they look great. While more expensive than concrete products or pavers, these are going to hold up to the snow and ice a lot better and due to the thickness, I'm confident they won't warp.

I looked at a LOT of stepstone alternatives before deciding on these. We have a new garden and it's a work in progress. I wanted to be able to adjust them, if need be, so they needed to be something a woman could lift easily. Ours get a lot of foot traffic, and after several months show no sign of wear. They also don't shift underfoot, even though we didn't "plant" them in the soil. So easy!
The mosaic/concrete/stone versions always eventually crack, and moving them is a chore. These are sturdy, nice looking (I got the gray, which is so dark it matches my mulch!) and reasonably priced.
I hope they're made from recycled tires; that would make them even more perfect. Good buy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jess Excellent Product!
I previously bought 10 of these to use @ our RV site in Texas. Since they held up so well, I brought them with us when we relocated to North Georgia. I purchased five more & placed all 15 on a pine straw covered dirt area in front of our apartment complex. They added a nice look to the area & drew numerous compliments from both the complex residents the first time it rained as they could walk on them to their vehicles without stepping into the mud. They not only look good, they lasted two years in the harsh South Texas sun with no fading or deterioration. I expect they will hold up equally well here in Georgia. Worth the money!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fred These pavers are fantastic
I purchased the "gray" pavers for the back yard path we're putting in. The gray is very dark, and went nicely with the river rock in between the pavers. The pattern isn't too flashy -- subtle, but still easy to see there's a pattern. They are surprisingly heavy, really nice, and I expect they will weather our Colorado winters quite well. Just a really super product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AnnieR Nice step stone
I bought this to go under a down spout that spills out onto my patio. There isnt much room under the down spout and these are thinner than a cement stepping stone. I needed a pattern that wasn't to deep to as I don't want standing water (standing water can be a mosquito breeding ground). I just wanted something for the water to hit rather than the patio surface. This works great. The pattern on these stepping stones isn't deep so the water it does catch disappears quickly in the sun. They are a nice large size and an easy weight to handle too. I think I will buy another for a down spout out in the yard (coming off my shed) which is digging a hole in the dirt. I cant use a standard rain catcher since it is located at the edge of the lawn and I have to mow over the area so I need it to be flat. Think I will plant one of these stones just barely above the dirt line under the downspout and see how it works out there too. I would consider using these stones for stepping stones in a rock area two as they are a more managable weight then other stones, especially considering their size. I think I would choose as light a color as possible if I was actaully going to walk on them in bare feet on occasion as the lighter color reflects heat better so they might be a little cooler to the touch. Their light weight is so much easier to work with especially for older people with aching bodies. They are not really expensive for their large size, but I wish I could get them a little cheaper.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mike49 The product is a good value
I used these as stepping stones down my side yard. They worked out very well and appear to be quite durable. I would have given a five star rating but delivery took two weeks, when Home Depot's website stated 3 to 5 days.

We purchased 6 at first to try out for a couple weeks in a new garden area. The scroll design looks great. We ordered 18 more to complete a path to our backyard gate and to a bench. They are very sturdy yet light enough to move easily. If the ground is not perfectly level, they are flexible enough with the rubber to adapt and and not break like concrete might. As noted by another reviewer, we do wish they didn't staple a tag on the front of the stepping stones.
