How do these shrink after washing? Do edges pucker? Want to use it as a tablecloth for a 42' x 78" table. Might not mind a centered seam. Thanks:-)

Asked by: Kitty
This is a seamless drop cloth. A different "big box" store sells a similar drop cloth for comparable prices, but theirs has an internal seam. I much prefer this one. I am using two of these as privacy curtains around my outdoor hot tub. There is no apparent shrinkage from rain exposure and definitely no puckering. They hang nice and straight.

Is it 100% cotton or a cotton/ polyester blend?

Asked by: Gnome
No, the canvas drop cloth is a cotton polyester blend.

How thick are they? Possible for blackout blinds?

I'm thinking of using these for blackout blinds. Are they thick enough to be used like this? Would I need to double up?
Asked by: whyyouareeye
This cloth is not suitable as a window blind.

5-3/4 ft. x 8-3/4 ft. Canvas Drop Cloth is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 92.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from everything i wanted I used the tarp for a queen bed my hound sleeps on. Otherwise, he digs thru the sheet and the mattress cover, and then the mattress. The tarp holds up, but is still supple to sleep on.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New curtains! Used these for curtains in my dining room because I could never find curtains I liked. These look like linen! Loved them so much I put them up in the spare bedroom too! I had black blackout curtains so when guests came it was nice and dark but I got tired of the dark. These are opaque enough so no one can see in. Will probably put these up on my office (living room) too!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product but watch out for the ones with seam in the middle I purchased 6 of these to make panels for my large windows, they're an excellent low cost alternative to curtains. I'm pretty satisfied with the quality and look of them, but one did have a noticeable seam in the middle from having two pieces sewed together. Considering the cheap price (I was able to get some of the 2-packs before they were discontinued) i'm not going to complain too much. Based on other reviews this products seems to be a pretty popular buy for DIY's. If HD has any inkling on what customers are using this product for nowadays, it'd be nice if they no longer sold these random onesies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Used for photography backdrops We have 8 of these. We've dyed them various colors with RIT dye and use them for photography portrait backdrops. It works great for what we use them, the fabric is very durable, and they are very inexpensive compared to buying fabric from a fabric store. As a side note when we paint our walls in our house we use blue tarp to cover the floors.... not these canvas dropcloths.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from nice quality very nice drop cloth. I actually bought it to use as a backing for some slip covers for the pillows on my porch. After I washed them they were even soft! Nice thick durable feel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed! I used these to make drapes for my screened room. Hemmed the top and bottom. Hung on clips. People are amazed how great they look!! If they do get trashed, throw them out and make more!
