Answer:
I have 5 acres, approximately 820' x 290' x 955' x 248' = 2313 linear feet. Time this by the number of rows of wire, in my case it is 11,565. You'll need about twice that based on 5 rows. Minus what ever you use as gate/gates. Remember, all corners should be steel pipe or at least 4 x 6 posts and at least every 600' feet should be a post, steel of 4 x 6.

Answer:
1acre = 43,560 sq ft so 10 acres = 435,600 sq ft
sq rt of 435,600 = 660 (len times wid = area) = one side
660 x 4 = 2,640 for one strand
2640 x 3 = 7,920 for three strands around 10 acres
give or take :)

I don't need a whole roll of barbed wire just enough to keep the cows from eating my mulberry tree. Do you sell in smaller sizes?

Answer:
For best results barbwire should be supported by a vertical support (like a barbwire arm) no more than every 10'. Without knowing the height if the roof, slope, or material used in the structure of the roof and supporting walls we can not recommend a method of mounting barbwire.
Thanks

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good qualify with decent price This is my first time to install a barbed wire fence. It's was pretty heavy for at first. But later I figured out how to roll it. Great product. I would recommend anyone to use this product if you ever try to install a fence. June 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Keeps the cows in! The only thing really necessary is that the wire be properly rolled and it was so it was an easy install. August 11, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent quality so, so, price Heavy gauge, excellent quality, price is decent not cheap December 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 1320 Ft. 12.5 Gauge 2 Pt. Class I Barb Wire The barb wire came shipped to the house in very good condition. The weight was a bit much, though. I am not sure why the barb wire is sold in the 1320 ft. length; it would be more manageable in a smaller and shorter size. I only needed 200 ft. Other than having to work with a 70 lb.+ bundle, the barb wire was as decribed. I purchased the spool handle and barb wire cutters from another vendor; the spool handle is a must! October 20, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by When a lock alone won't due, barbed wire. The spool is quite heavy to pick up because it is a pretty large amount of wire. I had a problem with someone coming in my yard while I was a work---not no more! Thanks. August 4, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product I am really pleased with the barbed wire, easy to uncoil from the roll, and very strong! November 4, 2014
