Product Overview

Save time, money and labor costs! LedgerLok is the first fastener engineered to attached deck ledger boards to the rim board of the house with no pre-drilling. No need to predrill and hand-ratchet in 1/2 in. galvanized lags and washers. LedgerLok also has stronger design shear values than 1/2 in. galvanized lag screws. Plus, with LedgerLoks smaller shank diameter even a cordless drill (14.4 volts or higher) zips them right in saving on battery life and additional tooling costs.

  • Nationally code compliant. ESR #1078
  • Head-stamped for easy code inspection
  • Built in washer hex-head design eliminates the need for additional washer. Saves you time and money
  • Costs significantly less per piece than 1/2 in. galvanized lags and washers. Save even more money
  • Guaranteed corrosion resistance for the life of the project. ACQ approved
  • Free 5/16 in. hex driver bit in every package
  • American made

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by The best ledger bolt period. Expensive, yes. Worth every penny, YES. I purchased these to attach my deck's ledger board to my house and cannot say enough good things about them. They are easy so use, light, don't seem to rust and already have a washer/bolt head attached. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pricy but effective These are not the cheapest fasteners out there, but the end value is in the results. I used these (5 boxes) to fasten landscape timbers when building a large planter box/downspout drain system. They went in without needing pilot holes. Held the drive direction accurately. Did not split the timbers with the exception of one bad board. They draw down very tight, and will even draw through the wood if not controlled. Be sure to set drill to resist overdriving through the wood. NOT ONE OF THESE BROKE FROM STRESS! Anyone who has used long screws like these knows that you can expect some units to fail during installation. These screws do not fail! With a powerful drill/driver, your are far more likely to pull the screw through the wood, than you are to break one of these screws. The flanged head eliminates the need for washers. I did use a forstner bit to create head recesses, but don't think I needed to, as the screws are strong enough to create a recess for themselves. The hex head drive ensures positive drive, using the included hex drive bit. But I do prefer a neat job, so I did the extra recesses for my own satisfaction. The outter finish of the screws allows them to glide through the wood. I didn't even need to use the side handle of my drill to control the torque required. In fact, these screws require so little torque that you could hold the drill one handed in most cases. I was able to drive these all day long on a single charge of my cordless drill's Lithium battery. Real value is not only in the initial price, but rather in the overall experience of using a product. These screws are expensive, but they work easy, drive true, hold strong enough for anything within reason, and save a lot of time and effort. To me, that spells extremely high overall value! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Amazing Product There is zero reason not to use this product. Its so fast and so simple. Way better then thru bolting and having to have two people complete the project. I also used this on the parts of my railing where the posts could not be thru bolted and its rock solid. GREAT PRODUCT! September 17, 2013
