Rated 5 out of 5 by This micro pruner is p-e-r-f-e-c-t for cutting roses, hydrangeas and most other green stem plants. They're razor sharp and they stay that way through several seasons. This pruner is extremely light (maybe2 oz.) and measures about 6" total length. I wipe all my pruners clean with WD40 and then oil them with plain tool oil after every use. They come with a soft cover for the tip so you don't stab yourself. A very useful tool which will no doubt last a good long while. Recommend. May 22, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by fine point pruner This fine point pruner is excellent for rose bushes, currant bushes, hedges, fruit trees, etc., and can get to difficult spots with no problem. Being a finer point, it saves loads of time by eliminating the wrestling with interfering branches, etc. Being an excellent quality tool, it stays sharp, and will last many years. This tool can also be used for several craft projects, and is lightweight enough for a lady's hand while spending hours on projects. February 27, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by micro tip pruning shears the price is right. good name brand.also seems a good size for small hands. February 28, 2007
Rated 5 out of 5 by Still sharp after a year The narrow tip makes these easy to get into small places, and they are very sharp, even after a year of fairly regular use. The safety latch tends to re-engage/slide back in place by itself after a cut or two, but I don't mind as I'm not using these for lots of repeated cuts, and the safety of having them lock counters the slight inconvenience for me, but it is something to consider. Rated 4 out of 5 by As expected. As expected, no complaints. For use on relatively slim stems. June 17, 2014
