This worked great for spraying latex paint on crown molding in my airless sprayer. Thinned it enough that I didn't have any clogs. It was a cheap sprayer, so the paint went on pretty unevenly - no fault of the Floetrol. A quick once-over with a quality brush settled the lumps enough that the Floetrol took care of everything else. By the time I was done, the molding was as smooth as glass. I definitely wouldn't have gotten such a quality finish without the Floetrol! Plus, there was no noticeable difference in color at all.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Markmc76 Awesome finish
I used this for the first time when painting my interior doors black. I used a Wagner wide shot paint sprayer to apply the finish and not once did it clog, paint flowed through great. I followed the directions and mixed the entire quart with one gallon of paint. Paint flattened out and looks like glass. I have never got this type of finish before while just using paint and a sprayer. Only complaint is the paint that is left in the can is runny and makes for a harder time using regular brushes. I did try foam brushes and had no problems.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Davew VERY GOOD PRODUCT FOR MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS.
I have used this product in paint for Faux finishing. It's qualities are that it allows you to use your final color paint and easily sand through and expose the underlying accents. A professional taught this to me and it woks VERY well. It allows almost effortless fine sanding to create the faux finish you desire. It can be glazed, hand waxed or urethane over to achieve final desired look. I Have used it on several different types of applications but the most commented on was banisters that i stained, used flowtrol in Ralph Lauren black paint, sanded lightly to expose stain and hand waxed. Been standing 6 years without a flaw. TRY IT, you will see... Dave
