Answer:
Yes. You have to be careful. I use aluminum and stainless steel pots & pans.
I haven't tried iron. The User's Guide states that copper cookware heats up very quickly and efficiently and is better than aluminum and stainless steel.

Hello Pmheiden! The cooktop on this range (FFES3025PS) does not get scratched easily. We recommend that pots and pans do not get dragged across the top of the range as that can cause scratches. Copper cookware is an excellent heat conductor but will discolor. Aluminum cookware is a great heat conductor but if the pans slide across the cooktop they may leave metal marks. Stainless cookware is a slow heat conductor with uneven cooking results. Cast iron cookware is not recommended for use on ceramic cooktops. sounds crazy i know but we have a similar model and need to replace it (cracked stovetop). the range is a standard 30" but the opening only measures 29"...when i pulled the oven out the sides are not smooth (see pics) so i'm thinking when this was put in, the sides were taken off to make it fit.

otherwise i'm guessing we need to have our countertops shaved.

HELP!

Anniec- We have a very similar problem. Our granite was installed around the previous range and now most replacements we have found will not fit the cut out as it is (cut out is about 29 7/8). However, I went and looked at this model in person the other day at the store and it actually only measures 29.5 where it would slide past the granite. Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 48 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed with Dent in Faceplate Very functional design, fit under window nicely. Paid a premium for the smooth top with no back controls. Received with a dent in the face plate (see photo) very disappointing. August 17, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This was in our new house it is great. It so good to have a cooktop again but i was cleaning it there is finger prints in between the two layers of glass in the door. Not happy about that. How does this happen. August 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Best purchase ever!! We bought a new house filled with Frigidaire appliances and I'm so impressed with all of them. Efficient, roomy, great luxury for our new home. August 8, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good replacement, but wasn't exact fit Fit the opening of my old stove fairly well. Just needed a little trimming. Leveling feet are awkward to use and required several attempts to get good fit. June 24, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I bought it 2 months ago, and the stainless always looks finger printed and streaky. Hard to keep clean. Not sure if black would have been better. The top is much harder to clean as well, everything just sticks on and does not wipe off well. The stove I replaced was less maintenance. July 14, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Sleek too Had this stove about a month & have had no complaints...cooks evenly, top works well & the quick boil burner works great! July 17, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Floor model The stove was sold as is. It was a floor model that was missing on knob. Aside from that it was a great price on a slide in stove. May 1, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very Useful! It is very difficult to get used to the fan being on every time you are baking and broiling. My oven is 25 degrees cooler than it should be. I have tried to correct this and I was not successful so when a recipe calls for 350 degrees I set the oven to 375 degrees and it works just fine. Needed a new stove my old one was 28 years old!
