Don't listen to the negative reviews. I used Frog tape delicate on 7 different cut in for color change. 4 of those cuts were ceiling to wall and the other wall to wall. I used Sherman Williams latex paint that was applied 18 hours prior for the surface to accept the tape. I was worried on the first wall so I did the easiest to fix first just in case. Put it on, cut in the areas and then a second coat and took the tape off immediately after the second coat. Crisp clean lines, didn't damage the fresh paint in the least. I am a believer and will be using this again! Great product. Just read and follow the instructions.

I purchased this because it said I could use it on freshly painted surfaces - I waited 2 days to use it - I took it off within the hour after painting - it took the paint right off the wall

I used yellow Frog Tape three days after painting a medium purple paint on the walls, I painted the trim white.I took extra care in making sure that the tape adhered to the purple because of the sharp contrast between the two colors. Following ALL directions, when I removed the Frog Tape-Yellow, I had white bleeds on the purple.I made pictures of the mess. I have used the product before with good results but this time it failed! I am not happy!
Also, I tried to use the "contact us" in the highlighted area of the Writing guidelines and that page was NOT available.
Please advise! I got so aggravated with your product that I just quit my project

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stripes DO NOT BUY THE 'DELICATE SURFACE' TAPE!
We purchased the 'Delicate Surface' paint and taped the walls of a bedroom #painted years ago# with the goal of painting the ceiling. This was on Saturday #two days back#. Saturday afternoon we applied coat #1 to the ceiling. Sunday afternoon we applied coat #2 to the ceiling. Today we started pulling the tape down. The paint on the wall came off with the paint ... every coat of wall paint down to the drywall. No matter how gently and carefully we removed the tape, the wall paint came off with it. Part of the ceiling paint came off as well. Now we have to spackle and sand the walls to cover the delta between the drywall and the painted walls, then repaint the room. The expenses we now have to incur - in paint and lost time - is maddening.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GirlGotSkills Innovative product that-when used correctly- delivers on its promise
I am a DIY blogger with about a million projects under my belt. I've used just about every kind and brand of painter's tape around. After my kitchen cabinets were refinished, I needed to repaint the walls. I was horrified at the thought of putting ANY tape on my new cabinets. After reading a boatload of reviews, I finally settled on this product. It does not feel like old school tape. It is truly a step up from the last generation of tape. I have one more section of the kitchen to paint and plan to do a blog post about how I used the product and got such great results. It's a keeper. I will use it again. I promise.

We bought your tape. We placed it on our ceilings after 5 days of curing so we could paint our walls. Once the walls cured for several hours it was time to remove the tape. The tape pulled off ALL of the paint it came in contact with and more. Now we have to redo the ceiling. Thanks for the extra work Frogtape. NOT worth the price!
It was not the paint. We only use Behr.

DO NOT USE ON SPRAY PAINTED SURFACES !!!
I purchased Frogtape Delicate Surface hoping it would help to make my project great. I couldn't have been further from wrong. It ruined my project to the point I will need to strip it down and restart.
I tested the frogtape in a hidden area and at first all seemed good. I taped off the areas I needed to cover and applied my second color. After a short dry time of about 45 minutes I removed the Frogtape to find the surface of the previously spray painted surface underneath ruined.
I will never purchase Frogtape again !!!
