Customer Reviews

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 183 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great purchase Purchased this product few days before thanksgiving and arrived a day after thanksgiving. I was impressed how quickly HD was able to deliver the product. The installation was easy as I was only replacing an older model with the new model. The last model was about 10yrs. Old, and only 3 out of 4 burners were working. Anyway, it was time for replacement. The new stove is thinner than old unit is and do not believe to be any changes in terms of energy efficiency. In the new stove, they combined the knobs for warmer and small/large burner but everything else is same. Oh yes, it has child lock, which is good. If this last for 10yrs then it is worth the price! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great buy - great delivery several review sites indicated this to be a consumer 'best buy'. Home Depot offered it at one of the lowest prices I found. May 12, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by I like almost all aspects except it is super hard I have had smooth top stoves since they first came out in the 70's. Before buying this one, I looked at reviews and the only negative ones I saw involved keeping it clean. I was a bit cocky thinking the reviewers just did not know the proper care of a smooth top. I was wrong. This has been the hardest to clean one that I have ever owned. We did learn that the only way to get streaks off is with Windex. It is also very hard to clean around the knobs. Otherwise it heats quickly and we love all other features. January 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good option for downdraft Quality and performance - top notch, no complains at all. But installation could've been easier. Certain components are easier put together before the cooktop is in place. And it would've been good to have the longer power cables coming out of the unit and the metal conduit included. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by At least 4 issues so far... I got the delivery a last week. - The delivery man overshot the 4 hour delivery window by 2 hours. It was a total waste of a half day off. - The downdraft grill was missing in the package - The cleaning solution gets between the glass and the stainless steel trim and is hard to clean. - Most important: After about 10 min. of use, the right side burners started smoking from under the glass. It smells like an electric wire burn. I checked the main wiring and it is fine. I'm calling support, but i'm sure there will be some repair/replacement. We are pretty disappointed with our experience so far. June 16, 2011
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Replacement for same cooktop Very happy with it. Improved smooth top downdraft. February 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great cooktop We have had two Jen Air cook tops in our home and both of them burned out as soon as the warranty ran out, this one has a better warranty than Jenn Air and works very well, we are very satisfied with our purchase December 10, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to clean! This replaced a very old high end downdraft cooktop and it fit perfectly into the old spot. I love all the features and sizes of the burners. It is much easier to clean than the older model I had. After it cools off, I just use a soapy dish cloth to get most of the mess off, then I use the glass cook top cleaner as directed. It takes just minutes. If there is a hard textured burn or spill, then I first use a razor blade to scrape off the spill, then I use the glass cook top cleaner. The only disadvantage is that its hard to read the settings on each knob. I have to get out my reading glasses for that. August 4, 2015
