CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 96 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice for a small patio This unit is the perfect size for our small patio. It heats up quickly and good for a small gathering. It fits well on the patio table. It is easy to move around, and does not take up much space. The small propane tanks come in a three pack. They last a couple hours, perfect for us. Take them back to Home Depot to recycle. Takes a couple tries to get the hang of starting it up. Heat does not last near what the gallon tanks do. We looked at the large heaters, they are to bulky, take up too much space, and the large propane tanks are a pain. So glad we opted for the small tabletop unit. April 1, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Tabletop Heater Great product for it's size. Works well, recommend the extension hose for 20 lb tank. Small tanks run out to quick. December 10, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Table Top Prpane Heater Bought this for our patio table. It's an ok product but I have three issues. First, I think it was way over priced at $100. Secondly, it works well unless there is any sort of light wind which cools the burner reducing heat output. Lastly, this heater uses a one lib propane bottle which won't get you through an entire evening. Having said that, it has worked ok on several occasions. October 28, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by So so So I read through about half these reviews and my only real question to people is this " Do you not understand that the unit only puts out 11,000 btu's which is maybe 25 to 30 sq ft.?" Other then that one thing I had no issues using this in my garage to work on my truck and yes i had the door open for those of you thinking about the fumes in the air or whatever. November 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great little table top heater This is a great little heater. You will want to buy at least 2 bottles of the 1 pound (16 oz) camping propane gas. If you plan on using it for longer than about 2 hours. What will happen is the rapid decompression of the propane from a liquid (as it's stored in the bottle) to a gas causes the refrigeration effect (this is how a lot of freon based refrigerators and ac's work) and this will eventually cause the restrictor tube in the bottle to clog up. You'll think you are out of gas but shake the bottle, you're not. Simply set the frozen bottle out to warm up and insert a new bottle then when that bottle freezes replace with the first bottle now unfrozen. Repeat until all the gas is used up (at full blast this will take several hours). If you're not sure how full a bottle is you can shake it and listen or you can weigh it. A full bottle should weigh just over 1 pound or 16 oz. This heater puts out good heat in about a 3 ft radius around the heater. Well built and when put together properly is very sturdy.
