Answer:
You likely could, but there are better ways to do that. Check out this link and I'm sure you'll have better success. This product is designed for cutting flat surfaces primarily.
From there, you may want to get some sort of diamond filing tool to round the edges a bit for comfort.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works as Expected For under $5, I can't imagine getting a cutter better than this. The roller has a little play in it, but tight tolerances aren't necessary on a tool like this, as the score line is still accurate. Imnmediately after purchasing it cut two pieces perfectly (with oil of course) and this tool made it look as easy as the youtube videos. I used a straight edge as a guide and scored the glass, then flipped it over and ran the ball end of the tool along the score line. It popped right apart. The ball end does not have any casting marks on it like a low quality tool, and it works very well. January 31, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Needs help to work on bottles This glass scorer would probably work for breaking thin glass planes, but I was trying to break bottles cleanly. I used the scorer extensively along the bottle, then heated the bottle with a flame along the scoring, then plunged it into cold water and applied pressure to the glass (this method is not recommended as you might cut yourself). I was able to break one out of 3 glass bottles relatively cleanly, but it required some muscle work with the scorer and several tries. The blade was dull after using it on three bottles, but they are inexpensive if you're going to be doing a lot of scoring I'd recommend buying more than one. The handle feels high quality and is made of metal. May 9, 2010
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cheap Bottle Cutter Worked great, scores glass cleanly every time. I've been using it to make cups from glass bottles, and if you keep getting uneven breaks it isn't because of the cutter, its because you aren't heating the score line evenly, or are using too much heat, blowtorch etc. A sure way to get a clean break is to use boiling hot water and pour it on the score line, then try to pull the bottle apart, repeat if necessary. Works every time.g July 15, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by bang for your buck excellent cutter. i've used it extensively over the last 2 years. just as, if not more, durable than more expensive glass cutters. May 4, 2010
