Customer Questions & Answers

is the rough in valve included

Asked by: Anonymous
Yes it include the rough in valve. Also depending were you live the local building code requires a vacuum break valve on the bidet which it is included as part of the valve.

Thank you for your interest, yes this faucet has a vacuum breaker at base of the spout shank where the y-adaptor hooks up to main spout.

Dose the center faucet change the pressure? Does it lift up for more pressure?

Asked by: muggs
Unfortunately it does not lift. It turns to your left for more volume of water. It does not increase the water pressure at all.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from ok... LEAKS but fixable The set seems nice and well crafted however after installing you run into the problems.. the center handle which controls the nozzle or diverts the water flow around the bidet LEAKS EVERYWHERE.. my solution is to LIBERALLY apply plumbers putty on both sides of the handle(top and bottom part of the bidet). Also on the bottom there is a rubber gasket...metal washer.. and then the nut.. apply plumbers putty to both sides of that rubber gasket.. between the bidet ceramic and between the washer which will compress it. Also apply plumbers tape to the thread or it will leak from the nut. The next spot where it will leak a lot is the drain.. the gasket is poor and does not compress properly.. solution is if you can plumbers putty if not use some caulking adhesive like it tells you to do on the top of the drain. Also remember to apply tape to the threaded portion of the drain pipe. Other than the leaky issue which can be solved (hopefully) with lots of plumbers putty and tape my only other concern is that the securing nuts are rather flimsy and larger nuts would offer a more secure installation and make this a much better set. As for the nozzle spray it appears weak because it falls on itself, once the water makes contact with something it goes much higher. Unfortunately had to take it apart about 3 times now... 1 hour job turned into 6...

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good for the price I wanted to install this bidet on a low budget so I went with this set and it seems well made. The instructions are clear and even a novice like me can do well. The things to notice are the following: The back-flow valve is right under the spout and that is important. Do not omit. There is a rubber gasket funnel-shaped at intake side of the Y below the dual function valve. Because of the rim in the Y and the thinness of the gasket, it may be sucked into the intake tubing thus blocking all flow. I did not install it and it truly does not serve any purpose where it is. My advise is: don't use it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Looking Faucet This faucet looks great on my new bidet. I love the brushed nickel finish. My plumber installed it with no problems. A little bit overpriced though, but all the faucets were expensive.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broken!!!! After buying a different brand and having missing parts i decided to buy this faucet. It looks nice!. The plumber finished the installation (after two hours). When the water was turn on...we realized that one of the parts was faulty because it started leaking :-(. He tried almost anything to to fix it but nothing worked. By the way uninstalling it takes even longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Supplied O-Rings are too small and don't seal. This product has a great price. The finish is also good. For the installation of the kit it brings sealing washers that are too small for a standard bidet. When you tighten the center valve the gaskets provided squeeze in the bidet. I had to buy 2 different gaskets at Home Depot to make the kit work. I bought 2 of Danco tip toe drain stopper gasket #88209 and one Danco pop up drain gasket #80346. With these gaskets was the only way to stop the leaking at the main valve. Unless you know what you are doing it will leak. I would only recommend this kit to a professional.
