Answer:
This product does a great job removing rust stains from nylon fabric screens and painted aluminum frames caused by sprinkler water. However, if the screen and frame is actually corroded ferrous, i.e. steel, I suggest that you need to replace the metal screen and treat the frame.

I believe it will. I think you need to be creative with how you apply it. I would be prepared to use a thick sponge, a toothbrush, and maybe a thin bottle cleaner to really get in all the holes and small crevices.

The rust remover does not eat away or damage like acetone or bleach would. If you apply too much force and rub too hard, then yes. I wiped with the rust away and then washed with clean water and it worked like a charm.

Answer:
No, I wouldn't chance it. This product's a strong enough acid that it's likely to discolor the sandstone. I would check with the manufacturer of the sandstone to see what they recommend. If they can't help you might try a light acid product like vinegar or lemon juice on a small test area to see if it will work.

128 oz. Rust and Stain Remover is rated 4.2 out of 5 by 60.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Saved me big time!! I have been renovating my home so I had a dumpster outside for a month. It rust stained the driveway pretty bad. Like 3 feet wide and 45 foot long streak. Well, city code saw it and said I had to remediate. I tried CLR, bleach, vinegar, pool chlorine, pressure washing, scrubbing - everything didn't budge it. I'm putting on a new roof so it didn't make sense to redo the driveway until after. Well delays and some personal things and after a few extensions by code enforcement, they send me a hearing letter if I didn't fix in 30 days. I found the review on this product by the guy who put up the photos and I had high hopes. Went to Home Depot tonight and this stuff delivered! It rinsed the rust away like it was dust and didn't seem to affect anything else. It just made the rust dissappear. Not any heavy smell. Driveway doesn't look like this obvious clean spot that sticks out either. It just looks like it went back in time. Highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works fast Use it to get rust stains from sprinkler water off of white vinyl fence. Used clr before without any results. This stuff worked in about 2 minutes. I sprayed it on about 40' of fence at the bottom and by the time i walked back the stains were gone. I used this stuff straight up in a pump sprayer and it worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than CLR Had rust stains on the side of mom's house from sprinklers on well. CLR full strength didn't hardly do anything. Put Goof Off in sprayer, sprayed full strength and it melted right off! Rinsed off wall and now it's good as new! My new favorite!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sidewalk cleaning This stuff is awesome! CLR can't hold a match to this product. No scrubbing at all. I used it in a bug sprayer and saturated the area well.10 mins later concrete looked brand new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding I was skeptical, but took a chance with this product. Worked great. I had heavy rust on the curb in front of my house, and I had tried everything to get rid of it. I sprayed this product on with a pump sprayer, waited 5 minutes, then sprayed it off with a pressure washer. Worked great. I would def recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Off Rust and Stain Remover GREAT PRODUCT. Melted away rust stains on cement curbing that had been heavily stained by our Florida water. I did use a power washer just to rinse. Also did a great job on stucco siding where the sprinkler was spraying the house. Best of all...no mixing!!!
