Answer:
Yes, we installed casters on the legs. But the size of our caster is a little bigger than the leg size so we added a small wood block to the base of each leg and mounted it to the wider size.

Yes but the legs are 3" x 3" so you need to use smaller casters. I'd recommend waiting until the unit arrives before buying the casters. Answer:
I spaced the bottom boards apart to allow for drainage through the landscape cloth that came with the bed. Haven't had any problems with drainage since installation even when it rains.

Answer:
the bottom is created by cross slats, similar to a deck, so you space them out for drainage. Use a pencil, screw, or nail for creating a gap.

34 in. x 48 in. x 32 in. Elevated Garden Bed is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 40.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this planting bed! This planting bed is good quality and beautiful wood. Went together easily with no tools or screws. I used the food safe cedar oil they recommend. It protects the wood and makes it a richer cedar color. Planting depth is about 9", which is OK for my needs. Love the counter height, so no bending to plant and harvest. Also, no weeds, and my dogs can't get into it. Bought one last Fall and another this month because the first one worked out so well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Seems to be a really good deal I bought this garden bed for my neighbor and we put it together a few days ago. It really was amazingly easy to put together. I had read other reviews that suggested a few dress-up additions and I took the advice: I added casters with brakes so that it can be moved around; I added hand grips/pulls to two of the 4x4s for ease in pulling and I reinforced the brackets holding the bottom boards with a few screws. My neighbor is trying to decide where to locate it as we live on a steep slope (hence the brakes). Anyway, she's thrilled with it and it's the perfect height and overall size. Can't say as to its durability as we just assembled it, but it looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from elevated garden bed I am a 67 year old woman and was able to put this bed together! I only needed someone to help me carry it out from the garage to where I was going to use it. Everything fit together perfectly and am ready to put in my dirt and veggie starts!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very easy starter kit This is a great way to get started with raised bed gardening. Very easy, no tools required assembly. Had a damaged piece in the box, but called the customer service number included with the instructions and they sent it out right away. Combined with other units to make a full garden. Height is just right, so no back strain.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No more pulling weeds or aching back! The elevated garden is terrific. I've never been able to raise anything in my yard except weeds due to the poor soil, nor could I care for it because of a bad back. This is so much easier and convenient and all my herbs and veggies are organic. I no longer have to worry about "secret" ingredients that I don't want. Shipement was prompt and I was surprised how easy it was to assemble. If this goes well I plan on ordering another next year.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than anticipated and made in the USA! This is our first attempt at growing our own veggies and only 2 of us in our house, so we didn't want to go really big like a few our neighbors did. We wanted something that would be somewhat quick to put up and easy to grown our veggies in. This turned out to be a great product and went together within 15 to 20 minutes without tools, but you should have 2 people, one to hold pieces in place while the other one locks the pieces in place. As for our neighbors, they purchased plans for 5' x 16' garden box, spent a solid 8 hours drilling holes, cutting wood, and building the garden box, then spent the 2nd half of the weekend digging out a big chunk of their grass in the back yard, brought in a several loads of dirt with their pickup trucks to fill the box. They get lots of veggies but end up giving away or tossing much of what grows and we spent much less then they did. Fast forward, it's been about 1 month since we assembled it and put soil and plants in it. We used organic soil for plants and veggies mixed with organic compost. Our plants are now growing like crazy and we already have tomatoes growing on one of two tomato plants and the zucchini is taking shape. We planted all sorts of veggies (squash, zucchini, egg plant etc}. It looks great in our garden and we took our time to figure out the best possible place to locate it for maximum sun exposure as well as how well it would blend with the rest of our garden scape. See the 2 pics attached. For a home with only 2 people, this veggie planter turned out to be the perfect size and will provides what we need in terms of veggies for the 2 of us. Overall, a great product and we are very happy with the entire purchase from Home Depot.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Elevated Garden Bed I purchase two of the 34" x 48" elevated garden beds. I have ground hogs that eat everything in sight, so I need to raise my garden. These are perfect. They were very easy to put together - no nails, screws, etc., and are sturdy. We went out and bought large casters for the legs so we can move them for winter storage. Home Depot has great service! I would definitely recommend Home Depot and these elevated garden beds.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Them LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them. I have physical limitations and these are the perfect height to plant a few veggies. They were unbelievablely easy to put together. Like building with Lincoln Logs. Very good quality and plenty sturdy when I filled with dirt. Only drawback was they were a little pricey.
