lenght of legs

I lost the information concerning the lenght of the sawhorse for the hieght of the sawhorse
Asked by: Hector
That's your choice. I made mine 32". Also used an extra 2x4 flat ways that I screwed onto the top edge of the horse. So my total height is 36". Depends on your height. I don't want to bend over to cut all day

What do you use to keep the wood in place? Nails? Screws? What kind?

Asked by: Hans
I used 1 5/8 drywall screws and they seem to work well.

Is this a single or pair of brackets?

I can't tell for sure by reading. Is there two brackets in the package, and thus enough to make a saw horse? Or do you need to purchase two of these to make a single saw horse?
Asked by: Andrew
Purchase one. There are two per pack.

We are using three sets of these to create legs for a DIY desk that my wife designed. The desk has been up and stable for 3 weeks at the time of writing this. They were simple to use, consistent quality, and have the ideal "industrial" look we were going for - and have met all of our expectations. The only thing that would make them perfect is if there was a lock to ensure they were all opened the same distance.

HOW EVER, I had to bevel the two by fours in order for the boards to fit into the pointed sections. The good thing was that you can make them as wide as you want (we did 4 feet) and the price was very reasonable. they are very sturdy and I'm sure we'll use them for years.

For people to say they wouldn't fit a 2x4 must be less handy than my 5 year old grandson. I put one together and he did the other. Also put a small brace on each side. Beats ruining or loaning out my costly adjustable sawhorses. Used exterior screws. Have less than $30.00 in two. Plus had good time with my grandson

Easy assembly, just use 3 purple studs per pair and some 1 5/8" drywall screws and you have good economical sawhorses. If you use them regularly use an 2 additional screws per bracket and screw them into the cross brace to hold them open because they do fold down easily. Make sure you get 2 sets because this is only good for one side!
