I have been using the welded wire fence for our newly planted trees. They do great job protecting the trees from livestock.

We have five fruit trees that were "protected" from the deer that frequent our yard with chicken wire. The deer would just scoot under the wire or push the wire in to get at the trees. We decided to purchase 100 ft of this 5 foot tall heavy duty wire and it really works! It is relatively easy to cut (with the right implement) and put in place around 5 ft. stakes. Connecting the ends is also easy - involving only 3 or 4 tie ons, so easy to open / close.
Since it weighs 70 lbs and we live an hour away from the nearest Home Depot, we were able to have it shipped to our home free of charge!
We were so happy with the 1st one, we bought a 2nd one the same way.

The fencing is strong and straight and does a great job of keeping the deer out of our orchard.

Since no-climb fence went from $149 to $199 and shrunk by 50 feet per roll, I was forced to buy this product (tight budget). As we were installing it, the welds were breaking, leaving strands hanging. To "weld" is to join metal together by heating/melting them. This wire is glued at best.

This is a great fence. It's sturdy. Easy putting it up. It's a great fence for my dogs. I plan on purchasing another 100ft.

I have been buying welded wire fencing by the 100 foot roll over 25 years a roll t a time to try to fence in my 80 acres. The stuff I used to buy was thicker gauge- maybe 12 AWG. This is 14 and thinner and weaker. Truthfully I am not only fencing in my 80 acres I also use this for goat pens and they can break it amazingly fast by rubbing on it repeatedly. I can get better stuff through my co-op and sometime I do, but often they are out of stock, and for the last 8 months we haven't had a truck for me to haul rolls home in from the co-op meet place So this is what I have to work with.
Cyclone fencing is worse, even though it is thicker wired, it stretches and the goats will rub and rub till they have it all stretched out.
