Painter's Tripods (10-Pack) is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 15.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Handy Little Helpers These Painter's Tripods are very handy for helping with painting projects. They raise your project about 2" above your work table. This enables you to paint or spray the flat surface and all four edges easily. With most applications, you are able to paint a flat side, reverse while wet and paint the other flat side (if needed). The pointed ends of the tripods usually leave a slight or no long term mark in the paint. These tripods are about 2" leg to leg and all 10 nest together for a height of 4". Very easy to store. The tripods can be snapped together, leg to leg for different needs. The only reason I gave this product a rating of 4 is because the legs are a little flimsy compared to other painter tripods I have used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value, nice interlocking feature This is a pretty simple product, but one I've found especially handy. This is an excellent value - I bought a set of 10 from another brand years ago that cost twice as much, and didn't have the interlocking feature. Which brings me to the one really feature of these, besides their base purpose - two of the three feet have holes, the other has a peg that fits into the holes. This allows for connecting multiple tripods together. This might not be terribly useful for larger pieces where the tripods need to be more spread out, but for smaller items it's excellent - several times I've damaged the finish on a piece because one of the tripods slipped and I had to go back and fix it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple and effective These little tripods are the kind of thing you don't think about until you see them used, then you can't do without them. They are an affordable item to put in your paint tool collection. The instructions say you can paint and turn over while wet, but you may get a small mark at the point. It is OK if it is the inside of a cabinet or such. Otherwise, let it dry overnight and try the other side. Lifted up, drying is secure from interference with drop cloths. Finally, I find these tripods are useful to paint the SIDES of long items. As for stability, you can pop a few together since they link. The link option also allows a "cradle" for something like a dowel, according to the instructions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use These tripods or points effectively raise your project enough above your work surface that you can easily paint the top and edges without getting paint on the surface itself. The project can then be flipped and placed back on the tripods with the wet surface down. The tripods only have a small pointy tip that leaves little to no mark on the last undersurface when dry. The tripods are very stable but lightweight and can be arranged into any necessary configuration or space. Two out of the three legs can also be nailed down for further stability if needed. Great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Paint Both Sides Say you've got a thing, like a birdhouse, and you want to paint it. But you can't paint all sides at the same time without putting a side down that will get stuck to your workbench. So you waste a bunch of time waiting for the bottom to dry before you can start painting the other sides. FORGET THAT! These tripods allow you to paint the bottom, then put that bottom on the teeny little tips of these tripods, and then paint the rest of the birdhouse. Major time savings. Don't paint stuff without 'em.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Everyone should have a pack or two of these These are really handy to have around. I don't use them on everything I paint, some times a good old fashioned 2x4 is still the best tool for the job but when I have something fragile, thin, small, two sided, or needs painted edges these are perfect. The surface that comes in contact with your work is unbelievably small. Like the tip of a pencil, but the base is wide and sturdy. Four of the tripods easily supported a sign I was painting these weekend that was 20x30 hardboard.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice painter's points Painter's points are a pretty simple product that I have used over the years in my spray booth, I have even made my own in a pinch but the manufacturer of these ones made some nice improvements over any that I have owned in the past. First they are a nice height, taller than others. They are very stable and they even have holes in the bases so that you can fasten them down to the work surface. They can be connected together with a pin and hole if that helps your project.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from NOT JUST FOR PAINTING The HDX Painters’ Tripods are every bit as handy as they are simple. Having used improvised, self-made “nail stands” years ago, I can readily appreciate the uniform sizing and tripod stability of these little wonders. The space-efficient, nesting design makes the 10 piece set easy to store within reach of my work bench, and I have already used them to support uneven items.
