It makes a very attractive garden addition.
All pieces arrived in good condition, except for two boards that were missing. It took about five half days to assemble. Instructions were clear except i really struggled with the door and ended up not using door hardware.
So far we've been pleased with the solar shed.

The greenhouse arrived with all parts complete and intact. Despite the fact that I had never undertaken a similar project before, I was able to assemble it with few problems. I am very happy with this purchase.

I couldn't be happier with this shed, which I am using as a winter sunroom in the Denver metropolitan area (Colorado USA). I have insulated it, and on a sunny 30 degree (-1 C) day, I can count on the shed to reach over 70 degrees (21 C) by the warmth of the sun alone. My kit arrived in excellent condition with no broken or missing pieces. I built the floor kit and attached it to three 4”x6” skids that rest on a level bed of gravel. The kit is compatible with a variety of foundation styles. I chose skids in case I ever want to move it.
I had never built anything more complex than bookshelves, but I the instructions with this kit were easy to follow (except for the door installation -- that part was a little obscure). My husband helped with a couple steps where heavy things needed to be lifted and aligned. All the rest I did myself. It was so satisfying when all the windows slipped into their slots on the first try!
Some of the required roofing materials have to be purchased separately -- shingles, drip-edge flashing, roofing paper and roofing nails. I don't know why they aren't in the kit, but this does allow you to choose your colors for the flashing and shingles. It took 3 bundles of 3-tab shingles and 50 feet of flashing. I used only a fraction of a roll of inexpensive roofing paper. You also need some caulk to go around the windows.
This kit was a treat for me as a novice builder. I learned to do something new and saved money by building it myself, and now I have a warm, sunny room to use in the winter for reading and other projects.

Great Product. My Wife is making it her writing room and she loves it. Had to hire someone smarter than me at assembly, but totally worth it

The solar greenhouse shed was easy to build. Some of the material was warped butI was able to make it all work with some minor modifications.
It will take two people at times to erect the shed. My wife was able to help me set trusses hold one end of the sideing as I did the nailing.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hummy It is a dandy little greenhouse!
My husband and a professional carpenter built the greenhouse in our back yard. We have already begun to store our tropical plants (which are potted) inside it. My job is to paint the exterior and I will get to that after the holidays. We are now installing a portable heater with a thermostat on it, but in the spring we will hire an electrician to hook up a more permanent type heater if needed. The windows face the winter sun here and should give them all plenty of light and possibly a lot of warmth on sunny winter days.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mom2014 i like my solar shed
This is our second Handy Home Products shed, so we were familiar with the quality and process, and so far it meets my expectations for the extra storage, and other uses. Will need to order the shades because it faces west and gets very hot in there during the day...I'm a novice to the greenhouse process so scorched a few houseplants due to the heat/sun being too harsh. Will be interesting to see how it works this fall/winter. Has been a fun project so far. Shipping experience was kind of a nightmare -- the first trucking company was unable to deliver it (too big and too heavy for liftgate they said). HD quickly rerouted but it took several more days, and the driver was pleasant, but we still had to unload it one piece at at time.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Duckman60 Very Nice solar shed
I assembled it myself in about six days but only two of those days were a full day of work. I didn't have a helper so I framed it first and then added the siding after the framed walls were up otherwise the walls are too heavy for one person to lift. As other comments say, buy or rent a framing nailer and whenever possible substitute screws for nails. Be careful of the dimensions and keep the walls and trusses square - it will save you a lot of effort when you install the windows. I made some minor alterations along the way such as adding additional trim and a larger window on the side. I will probably add another window on the tall wall. All the wood supplied was in good condition and straight. Make sure to buy everything you need ahead of time including shingles, roofing paper, roofing nails, and drip edge. Also, I suggest buying your own floor materials - it is cheaper and you can make it stronger. I used 2 x 8 pressure treated lumber and plywood.
One minor issue, after the order was shipped it was lost (stolen) in transit. Home Depot immediately had another one shipped. Caused a two week delay but not a big deal. People at Home Depot were very nice. Driver on the delivery truck says this happens more often then people think.
