Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very useful tool I work as an Estate Manager in NYC and every week I need to move furniture and paintings for my clients. This tool makes my life easier and saves me so much time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wish I'd have had this sooner I really like this tool and I think it is totally worth the price. I gave it a "good" rating on quality because while it is great for regular pictures, I think it might be a little flimsy if you were hanging something heavy. That being said, I think that with a little support of the heavy item it wouldn't be an issue at all since it's just for positioning. I recommend this item in conjunction with a small laser level if you are hanging groups of pictures. Project a line with the level, use the hanging tool to hold your picture, and then make sure that the top of your frames touch the line before marking the hanging hole with the tool. If you do that, all of your pictures will be at the same height. Some of the previous reviewers obviously didn't realize that this tool is not magic and that it alone wouldn't assure that pictures will be in a straight line. I'm not sure how much more instruction there could be with this tool aside from recommending a laser level. You just hang your picture on the tool, position the tool where you want the picture to hang, carefully remove the picture, and press the button to make the mark. I'm lazy and I didn't even take the picture off to mark the hole, I just gently pressed on the frame and it made enough of a mark for me to tell where the nail needed to be. As one reviewer said, you do need to allow for the height of the tool when hanging because you can't get super close to the ceiling. I like that it has levels on it to straighten out your picture after it's hung. It's a great product and I'm glad to have it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth buying This was one of the best $11 purchases I have made. I wish it was a little sturdier, but it does the job, and when hanging a big item (a 6 foot 80 pound wall mirror) it took half the time, almost no measuring, and worked as promised. Verrrrry clever device. Great time saver. Buy it in spite of the fact that it says "as seen on TV."

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Smart Super easy to use - genius idea! I bought it half way through putting up a gallery wall after I spent hours making our walls Swiss cheese. I wish I had gotten it before I started - but I'm glad I finished with it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well for any low hanging pictures, low ceilings are tough though You need at least a few feet to position this below the ceiling and notch your guide holes. Or, hang your posters / pictures lower. Otherwise, it works excellently and makes positioning and hanging a snap. Would 100% recommend for those of you who don't want to bother with the laser levels, etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So quick, so easy It is so much easier to hang artwork with this tool, I will never wait to hang my artwork a year or two after I move as it makes it so simple and hassle free by using Hang & Level. My wall decorating fear and procrastination is gone now thanks to Hang & Level. And really anybody could hang art well if they have the opportunity to use this awesome tool correctly! It is also fun to use the built-in level after hanging the picture. Tip: If you are hanging your art solo: It is very helpful to have a hip-height or so table nearby to set the picture on after you positioned it on the Hang & Level on the wall and before you need to press the button to mark the nail hole, to keep the picture frame safe. This allows for your hands-free to keep Hang & Level in the same spot on the wall with one hand and at the same time be able to press the button on the tool with the other hand.
